CHAIR ARM ASSEMBLY
A chair assembly includes a base assembly, a seat assembly having a pair of side edges and a fore-to-aft extending longitudinal centerline, a back assembly movable between upright and reclined positions, and an arm assembly including an arm base extending from a first location between the side edges to a second location laterally outward of one of the side edges, wherein the arm base extends at an acute angle with respect to the longitudinal centerline and at an upward angle from the first location toward the second location, a support assembly supported by and extending upwardly from the arm base, and an armrest supported by the support assembly that is adjustable to support the armrest between a plurality of selected vertical positions, wherein the arm assembly and back assembly move at a different rate from one another as the back assembly is moved between the upright and reclined positions.
BENDABLE PANEL FOR FURNITURE AND SOFA HAVING SAME
Disclosed are bendable panels for furniture, and sofa frames and sofas composed of bendable panels. A bendable panel for furniture includes a panel formed with one or more bending lines. The one or more bending lines divide the panel into a panel body and one or more panel extensions. A respective panel extension in the one or more panel extensions is bendable with respect to the panel body along a corresponding bending line in the one or more bending lines between a first angle and a second angle.
Collapsible outdoor seating with hinge assemblies
There is provided an outdoor seat collapsible from an open position to a closed position. The seat including: a back rest that rotates until the back rest abuts a top of a seat rest to move to the closed position; a plurality of legs connected to the seat rest, the back rest, or both; and a front flap rotatably connected to the back rest or the seat rest, the front flap rotates to cover front facing portions of the back rest and the seat rest while in the closed position. Also provided is a hinge assembly, including an elongated hinge that defines a hole proximate to a first end and a slot proximate to a second end; the hole receives a first pin to permit rotation of a first portion, the slot receives a second pin to permit rotation and lateral movement of the hinge relative to a second portion.
Thoracic region comfort seating system
A thoracic support for a seatback of a seat is provided. The thoracic support includes a center portion extending in an upright direction and adapted to be positioned adjacent the seatback to align adjacent a thoracic region a user's spine. The center portion is formed of a first foam material having a first hardness. A pair of side portions each disposed adjacent to and are connected with the center portion. The side portions are formed of a second foam material having a second hardness. The first hardness is greater than the second hardness so that the center portion provides support to at least a portion of the thoracic region of the user's spine.

A chair back assembly includes a back shell member including laterally extending top, bottom and side portions cooperating to define an open space therebetween, where a portion of the back shell member is located in a lumbar region, a cover having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the cover covers at least a portion of the open space, and a back frame assembly operably supporting the back shell member and movable between upright and reclined positions, wherein the back frame assembly causes the back shell to flex in a fore-to-aft direction as the back frame assembly is moved between the upright and reclined positions independent of an external force being exerted on the back shell member, and where the lumbar portion of the back shell member remains spaced from the back frame as the back frame is moved between the upright and reclined positions.

A chair back assembly includes a back shell member including laterally extending top, bottom and side portions cooperating to define an open space therebetween, where a portion of the back shell member is located in a lumbar region, a cover having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the cover covers at least a portion of the open space, and a back frame assembly operably supporting the back shell member and movable between upright and reclined positions, wherein the back frame assembly causes the back shell to flex in a fore-to-aft direction as the back frame assembly is moved between the upright and reclined positions independent of an external force being exerted on the back shell member, and where the lumbar portion of the back shell member remains spaced from the back frame as the back frame is moved between the upright and reclined positions.

A chair comprising: a metal frame formed by a plurality of metal elements, including a seat portion having two seat support elements and a backrest portion having two backrest support elements extending upwardly from the seat portion, a flexible backrest panel and/or a flexible seat panel of plastic material having two lateral hollow portions into which respective support elements are inserted, wherein, in a rest condition, there is a transverse clearance between outer edges of said lateral hollow portions and the respective support elements and wherein, in a deformed condition of the flexible backrest panel and/or flexible seat panel said transverse clearance is reduced to zero.

A chair comprising: a metal frame formed by a plurality of metal elements, including a seat portion having two seat support elements and a backrest portion having two backrest support elements extending upwardly from the seat portion, a flexible backrest panel and/or a flexible seat panel of plastic material having two lateral hollow portions into which respective support elements are inserted, wherein, in a rest condition, there is a transverse clearance between outer edges of said lateral hollow portions and the respective support elements and wherein, in a deformed condition of the flexible backrest panel and/or flexible seat panel said transverse clearance is reduced to zero.
Ergonomic chair
An ergonomic chair comprising a seat, a lower leg support, a chest support and a hip support. The seat is configured to support the posterior thigh and/or buttocks of a seated user, the seat being configured to urge the hip of the seated user in a forward direction. The lower leg support is configured to support the anterior side of the lower legs of the seated user. The chest support is configured to support the chest of the seated user in a forward leaning position of the seated user. The hip support is configured to support the anterior hip of a seated user as the seat urges the seated user’s hip forwardly towards the hip support.
CHAIR BACK ADJUSTING MECHANISM
The present invention is about a chair back adjusting mechanism, and relates to the technical field of chairs. The chair back adjusting mechanism includes a chair back, which is movably disposed above a supporting surface of a chair seat and is provided with a connecting base at a side close to a fixed bracket, and the chair back is movably connected to the connecting base; the connecting base is provided with a first sleeve pipe at a side close to the fixed bracket, the fixed bracket is provided with a second sleeve pipe at a side close to the connecting base. The chair back is connected to a chair body by a sliding and elastic telescopic assembly, which reduces the user's feeling of fatigue and effectively relieves fatigue at the waist of sedentary people; and the chair back adjusting mechanism has a simple structure, which reduces the manufacturing cost.
