PROCESS AND A SYSTEM FOR PRODUCTION OF MULTIPLE GRADE DE-AROMATIZED SOLVENTS FROM HYDROCARBON STREAMS
A process and a system are used for production of multiple grades of ultralow aromatic solvents/chemicals having preferred boiling range, flash point and viscosity from different hydrocarbon streams. A plurality of hydrotreating steps are used to hydrotreat a plurality of hydrocarbon feedstocks in the presence of a hydrogen gas stream and a catalyst system. Further, at least one dissolved gas stripping step, at least one adsorption step, and a distillation step are included in the process. Desired iso-paraffin molecules are thereby preserved, and the undesired aromatic molecules are converted into desired naphthene molecules.
MULTI-PHASE COMBINATION REACTION SYSTEM AND REACTION METHOD
A multi-phase combination reaction system has at least one fixed bed hydrogenation reactor. The fixed bed hydrogenation reactor has, arranged from top to bottom, a first hydrogenation reaction area, a gas-liquid separation area, a second hydrogenation reaction area and a third hydrogenation reaction area. The gas-liquid separation area is provided with a raw oil inlet. A hydrogen inlet is provided between the second hydrogenation reaction area and the third hydrogenation reaction area. The system is capable of simultaneously obtaining two fractions in one hydrogenation reactor.

A multi-phase combination reaction system has at least one fixed bed hydrogenation reactor. The fixed bed hydrogenation reactor has, arranged from top to bottom, a first hydrogenation reaction area, a gas-liquid separation area, a second hydrogenation reaction area and a third hydrogenation reaction area. The gas-liquid separation area is provided with a raw oil inlet. A hydrogen inlet is provided between the second hydrogenation reaction area and the third hydrogenation reaction area. The system is capable of simultaneously obtaining two fractions in one hydrogenation reactor.
PROCESS FOR DESULFURIZATION OF HYDROCARBONS
A process for hydrodesulfurizing an olefinic naphtha feedstock while retaining a substantial amount of the olefins, which feedstock has a T.sub.95 boiling point below 250° C. and contains at least 50 ppmw of organically bound sulfur and from 5% to 60% olefins, the process including hydrodesulfurizing the feedstock in a sulfur removal stage in the presence of a gas including hydrogen and a hydrodesulfu-rization catalyst, at hydrodesulfurization reaction conditions, to convert at least 60% of the organically bound sulfur to hydrogen sulfide and to produce a desulfurized product stream, with the associated benefit of such a process providing a lower octane loss at all severities above 60% HDS, compared to a process with similar conversion of organic sulfur with a lower gas to oil ratio, as measured by the selectivity slope, while avoiding excessive increase of equipment size by limiting gas to oil ratio.

HEAVY MARINE FUEL OIL COMPOSITION
A process for reducing the environmental contaminants in a ISO 8217 compliant Feedstock Heavy Marine Fuel Oil (Feedstock), the process involving: mixing a quantity of the Feedstock with a quantity of Activating Gas mixture to give a feedstock mixture; contacting the feedstock mixture with one or more catalysts to form a Process Mixture from the feedstock mixture; separating the Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil liquid (Product) components of the Process Mixture from the gaseous components and by-product hydrocarbons of the Process Mixture and, discharging the Product. The Product is compliant with ISO standards for residual marine fuel oils and has a maximum sulfur content between the range of 0.05% wt. to 0.50% wt. The Product can be used as or as a blending stock for compliant, low sulfur or ultralow sulfur heavy marine fuel oil. A device for conducting the process is also disclosed.
Multi-Stage Process and Device Utilizing Structured Catalyst Beds and Reactive Distillation for the Production of a Low Sulfur Heavy Marine Fuel Oil
A multi-stage process for the production of an ISO8217 compliant Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil from ISO 8217 compliant Feedstock Heavy Marine Fuel Oil involving a core process under reactive conditions in a Reaction System composed of one or more reaction vessels, wherein one or more of the reaction vessels contains one or more catalysts in the form of a structured catalyst bed and is operated under reactive distillation conditions. The Product Heavy Marine Fuel Oil has a sulfur level has a maximum sulfur content (ISO 14596 or ISO 8754) between the range of 0.05 mass % to 1.0 mass. A process plant for conducting the process for conducting the process is disclosed.

Polished turbine fuel
Turbine fuel provided for large-scale land based turbines used by utilities for producing electricity and desalinated water, and for large mobile engines and turbines in marine and remote applications where only liquid fuels are available. Use results in less corrosion, ash formation and emissions (NOx, SOx, CO2 and noxious metals) than firing contaminated heavy crude, refinery residual oils or high sulfur fuel oils. Manufacture is by decontaminating crude oils, non-conventional crudes, and other highly contaminated feeds. Each fuel is produced as a single product of unit operations, not ex-plant blend of various refinery products, yet using an apparatus configuration less complex than conventional crude oil refining. These fuels can be fired by advanced high efficiency turbines of combined cycle power plants having hot flow paths and heat recovery steam generation systems susceptible to corrosion, which systems cannot otherwise risk contaminated heavy crudes or refinery residual oils feeds.
