Selective hydrogenation method
The present subject matter relates generally to methods for selectively saturating the unsaturated C.sub.2-C.sub.4. More specifically, the present subject matter relates to methods for saturating butadiene and butenes from a hydrocarbon stream before it is combined with a fresh feed and enters a reaction zone. Removing the unsaturates from the hydrocarbon stream before the hydrocarbon stream enters the reaction zone prevents the reactor internals from coking.
Process for producing diesel fuel
One exemplary embodiment can be a process for producing a diesel fuel. The process can include providing a hydrocarbon feed to a residue processing unit. Generally, the residue processing unit includes a solvent deasphalting zone, a hydroprocessing zone, and a hydroprocessing fractionation zone. The process can further include recycling at least a portion of an unconverted oil stream from the hydroprocessing fractionation zone, and sending one part of the at least a portion of the recycled unconverted oil stream to the unconverted oil fractionation zone providing a light unconverted oil stream downstream of the solvent deasphalting zone and a heavy unconverted oil stream to the solvent deasphalting zone.
PRODUCT RECOVERY PROCESS FOR ADSORBER REGENERATION
Disclosed is a process for the regeneration of an adsorber (A1). The adsorber (A1) is regenerated by contact with a gaseous stream (S2) and the outflow of the adsorber (A1) comprising condensate of stream (S2) and organic composition (OC1) collected in a device. After regeneration of the adsorber (A1) the stream (S2) in the adsorber (A1) is replaced completely or at least partially by the content of the device. Then the adsorber (A1) is fed with organic composition comprising at least one olefin, at least one alkane and at least one compound containing oxygen and/or sulfur.
PRODUCT RECOVERY PROCESS FOR ADSORBER REGENERATION
Disclosed is a process for the regeneration of an adsorber (A1). PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF OLIGOMERIZED OLEFINS
A process for the production of oligomerized olefins comprising the following steps: purification of an organic composition (OC1) in at least one adsorber to obtain an organic composition (OC2); oligomerization of organic composition (OC2) in the presence of a catalyst to obtain an organic composition (OC3); distillation of organic composition (OC3) in a distillation column (D1) to obtain an organic composition (OC4) from the upper part of (D1) and an organic composition (OC5) from the lower part of (D1); hydrogenation of organic composition (OC4) to obtain an organic composition (OC1 1) and regeneration of an adsorber (A1) employing organic composition (OC11) as regeneration media.
PROCESS FOR ADSORBER REGENERATION
Disclosed is a process for the regeneration of an adsorber. For the regeneration a liquid stream (S2) is applied which is obtained by hydrogenation of a stream (S1) comprising at least one alkane and least one olefin. The stream (S2) comprises one alkane and a reduced amount of at least one olefin compared to the amount in the stream (S1). Then the stream (S2) is converted from the liquid into the gaseous phase and the adsorber is regenerated by contact with the gaseous stream (S2).
PROPANE/BUTANE DEHYDROGENATION COMPLEX WITH THERMAL OXIDATION SYSTEM
A process for the treatment of sulfidic spent caustic, conditioned catalyst regeneration vent gas, C4 isomerization off gas, various and hydrocarbon containing liquid and gaseous streams in addition to toxic containing streams like cyanidic off gas and waste water in a propane/butane dehydrogenation complex is described. Various effluent streams are combined in appropriate collection vessels, including an off-gas knockout drum, a hydrocarbon buffer vessel, a spent caustic buffer vessel, an optional a waste water buffer vessel, and a fuel gas knockout drum. Streams from these vessels are sent to a thermal oxidation system.
PROPANE/BUTANE DEHYDROGENATION COMPLEX WITH THERMAL OXIDATION SYSTEM

AROMATIC RECOVERY COMPLEX WITH A HYDRODEARYLATION STEP TO PROCESS CLAY TOWER EFFLUENTS
The disclosure provides a process to hydrodearylate the non-condensed alkyl-bridged multi-aromatics at the outlet of the clay tower where such multi-aromatics form rather than performing hydrodearylation on the reject stream of the aromatics complex. Hydrodearylation may feature combining a C.sub.8+ hydrocarbon stream from a clay treater with a hydrogen stream over a catalyst bed comprising a support and an acidic component optionally containing Group 8 and/or Group 6 metals.
Kerosene hydrotreating with a separate high pressure trim reactor
A process is presented for the production of high quality kerosene from lower quality feedstocks, including kerosene produced from coker units, or kerosene from cracking units. The process includes hydrotreating the feedstock to remove contaminants in the feedstock. The hydrotreated process stream is then treated in a trim reactor at higher pressure to reduce the bromine index of the kerosene.
