INTEGRATED GARMENT AND CONFIGURABLE BODY SUPPORT SYSTEM
20180116308 · 2018-05-03 ·

A jacket or anorak suitable for day-to-day use is integrated with a selectively deployable configurable body support system. A support section comprising resilient, substantially parallel transverse members extends across a back area of the jacket perpendicular to an axis substantially parallel to a spine of the user. The transverse members are non-inflatable, inflatable with a portable pump, or self-inflatable. Removable flexible rods extend axially along opposite transverse sides of the support section. The flexible rods are each a lamellar structure operable to provide a first or a second degree of stiffness. The support section is removably secured within the garment. Leg support sections are stored in front sections of the jacket or anorak. The leg sections are removable and may be releasably secured to a lower end of the back support section, with the back support section and leg support sections being supported to a substrate.

An orthopedic thigh support for relieving stress in the legs and back. The orthopedic thigh support includes a cylindrical shaft having a first end and a second end, an outer surface, and a deformable core. The outer surface of the cylindrical shaft contains a plurality of concentric circular grooves positioned along a longitudinal axis thereof. The deformable core allows the cylindrical shaft to bend. The cylindrical shaft further comprises a removably securable cover. In an alternative embodiment, the shaft is made of nylon and the cover is made of a washable material.

Seated inversion table

The seated inversion table is provided having a support frame assembly, and a seat back assembly, and a seat cushion assembly tiltably mounted on the support frame assembly. The seat back assembly connects to the seat cushion assembly and connects to a rotating frame assembly through a lower connecting tube assembly. The rotating frame assembly is tiltably mounted on the seat cushion assembly and is adjustably mounted on a foot-clamping frame. With a front swinging rod of the seat cushion assembly tiltably mounted on the support frame assembly, a range of an inversion angle is restricted and thereby the seated inversion table may not over tilt.
