A seating arrangement includes a base, a seat assembly operably coupled to the base, and a back assembly that includes a substantially rigid back frame including a pair of side portions spaced from one another and extending upward from the base, and a substantially flexible back shell including a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface, a plurality of laterally-extending slots that extend between the front surface and the rear surface and that cooperate to define a plurality of laterally-extending ribs therebetween, where a pair of laterally-extending ribs of the plurality of laterally-extending ribs are connected to one another via a vertically-extending rib located at a substantial midpoint across a width of the back shell, and wherein the back shell is coupled to each of the side portions of the back frame at locations above the plurality of laterally-extending slots.

Provided is a blood pressure measurement device comprising: a chair unit provided such that a person for whom blood pressure is to be measured sits thereon; and a cuff part coupled to one side of the chair unit so as to move according to a preset direction and angle, and covering a person's arm for which blood pressure is to be measured.

A seat armrest comprises an elbow-rest segment, an arm-rest segment, a mobilizable connecting structure, and a height-locking structure. The elbow-rest segment is connected to a seat. Both the mobilizable connecting structure and height-locking structure are connected to the elbow-rest segment and the arm-rest segment. The mobilizable connecting structure facilitates the arm-rest segment to surround the mobilizable connecting structure to pivot toward a space above the elbow-rest segment. When the arm-rest segment is pivoted to any desired height, the height-locking structure can fix the arm-rest segment on that desired height. As a result, the user can adjust the height of his forearm on the arm-rest segment freely at different heights according to different occasions, so that the user can rest his forearm comfortably.

A seating furniture chassis comprises a base body, a fastener, and a side part. The fastener is arranged on the base body and comprises a fastening element and a spring element that exerts a spring force on the fastening element. The side part is releasably fastened to the fastener by utilizing the spring force and released by overcoming the spring force. The fastening element is moved counter to the spring force upon fastening of the side part to the fastener. The fastener comprises a first positive-fit element and the side part comprises a second positive-fit element. The first positive-fit element and the second positive-fit element are configured for a positive-fit connection to one another.

A rotation adjuster of an armrest is connected on a bottom of a supporting extension, a rotatable fixer connected on a holding tray, and a U-shaped plate having a circular groove, a slidable seat, a support post, two slidable engagement structures, and multiple arcuate notches. The holding tray includes a body and multiple spaced recesses. The rotatable fixer includes multiple columns, a circular protrusion, multiple receiving orifices configured to accommodate multiple springs, multiple balls and the multiple pushing elements respectively, and a connection orifice. The U-shaped plate includes the circular groove, a first rib, a threaded orifice, and two locking pegs. The slidable seat includes a U-shaped frame, a covering sheet, a first slot, and two second slots. Each slidable engagement structure includes multiple arcuate notches and a flexible projection received in a trench. A screw is inserted through the connection orifice of the rotatable fixer.

A portable frame apparatus and associated methods of use are disclosed. The apparatus includes a frame. The frame includes a first support member, a second support member, and at least one connecting member. The connecting member is configured to be coupled to the first support member at a first end of the connecting member and to the second support member at a second end of the connecting member. The first support member, the second support member and the connecting member form a rigid structure that provides support to a user of the portable frame apparatus.

A seat armrest comprises an elbow-rest segment, an arm-rest segment, a mobilizable connecting structure, and a height-locking structure. The elbow-rest segment is connected to a seat. Both the mobilizable connecting structure and height-locking structure are connected to the elbow-rest segment and the arm-rest segment. The mobilizable connecting structure facilitates the arm-rest segment to surround the mobilizable connecting structure to pivot toward a space above the elbow-rest segment. A seating arrangement including a seat member, a base, and an arm assembly including an arm base having a central portion and a receiver portion and exclusively supported from the base via a central portion at a position located between lateral outermost edges of the seat member, an arm stalk telescopingly received within the receiver portion and movable between retracted and extended positions, an arm support supported by the arm stalk, where the arm support moves in a forward direction with respect to the seat member as the arm stalk is moved from the retracted position to the extended position, and a bearing arrangement positioned between the arm stalk and the receiver portion and including a bearing member located between the receiver portion of the arm base and the arm stalk and a biasing member configured to bias the bearing.

A multifunctional seating unit includes a frame constituted by a pair of supports which are crossed in an X-like arrangement, each one of the supports defining a pair of first and second legs, pivoted in an X-like arrangement, and a first plate and a second plate, which are associated rotatably with a first armrest and a second armrest. The frame includes a parallelogram mechanism adapted to allow a partial raising/lowering and a partial narrowing/widening of the first and second armrests and of a seat which constitute the seating unit and a partial narrowing/widening of the pair of first and second legs. The seating unit includes a back composed of a first case and a second case which are lateral and collapsible onto a fixed central support.
