Modular furniture assembly
A modular furniture assembly has a modular universal base, an armrest module, and a modular recliner. The armrest is modularly coupled to one side of the modular universal base and includes an armrest member, a stepped member, a base horizontal member, and a base vertical plate. The modular recliner is coupled to another side of the modular universal base, and includes a recliner base and a backrest module. The recliner base has a plurality of frames that are interconnected and mechanically attached to each other. The recliner base includes a recessed surface that forms a transverse gap within the recliner base, and a top support having a flat top surface aligned with top edges of the plurality of frames. The backrest module has two backrest sections with end plates configured to move, respectively, along the recessed surface.

Comfort pad
A comfort pad having a visco-elastic body encased in a film and fabric adapted to transfer the long term energy distribution properties of the visco-elastic body to the user is provided. A bottom surface of the visco-elastic body may provide frictional resistance so that neither film nor fabric is required, yet the comfort pad may removably secure to a harder structure, providing comfort to the user at this pressure point. The present invention may include an attachment assembly for mechanically and removably attaching the comfort pad between the harder structure and the user.
CONVERTIBLE BEACH SEAT AND METHOD OF FORMING A BEACH SEAT IN A BEACH
A convertible beach seat system allows a user to form an arrangement of coupled together beach seats and armrests. Also, a method of forming a beach seat in a beach includes digging a trough or trench for receiving the leg portion of the beach seat and forming a sand-mound back rest for the back portion of the beach set to rest thereon. The beach seat system includes a plurality of beach seats, each having a back portion, a seat portion and a leg portion that are pivotably connected about hinges. Each of the beach seats have attachment apertures along the sides for detachably attaching beach seats together by the insertion of attachment posts that extend between the coupled beach seats. Armrests may be detachably attached to the beach seats. Attachment posts are provided for insertion into attachment apertures to coupled together beach seats or armrests to a beach seat.

Packaging-optimized detachable sofa
A packaging-optimized detachable sofa includes a backrest support, two armrest frames, a seat cushion frame, a footrest, and a folding mechanism, where the folding mechanism includes two link assemblies; the two link assemblies are respectively detachably provided at inner sides of the two armrest frames; the seat cushion frame is detachably provided at middle inner sides of the two link assemblies; the two link assemblies each include one end detachably connected to a bottom end of the backrest support and the other end detachably connected to the footrest; the armrest frames are respectively covered by armrest skins; when the packaging-optimized detachable sofa is in a storage state, each component is disassembled from the folding mechanism; and the folding mechanism each are placed in accommodating spaces covered by the armrest skins at sides of the armrest frames.
Seating apparatus and methods of using the same
In one aspect, seating apparatus are described herein. In some embodiments, a seating apparatus comprises a seating surface, two arms projecting upwardly from the seating surface, and a fastening strap. The fastening strap is operable to be adjusted between a tightened position and a loosened position. When the fastening strap is adjusted to the tightened position, it is operable to restrict motion of the seating surface relative to the chair.
System and method for aircraft passenger seating
A system and method for aircraft passenger seating allows traditional passenger seats, which have fixed configurations, to meet new specifications. A bottom frame and backrest frame from a traditional passenger seat is used to form a new passenger seat. Features, such as improved cushioning, telescopic or fixed headrests, rotatable or fixed footrests and improve armrest assemblies may be added as part of the new passenger seat.
Portable armrest divider and expander
Disclosed is divider for an arm rest including two upright members with the top of the first upright member connected to a top of the second upright member at an acute angle, a bottom of the first upright member, the bottom of the first upright member spaced apart from a bottom of the second upright member, a first horizontal member, the first horizontal member hingedly connected to the bottom of the first upright member; and a second horizontal member, the second horizontal member hingedly connected to the bottom of the second upright member.
