The present disclosure relates to a portable hand-wrapping platform that provides a solution for a trainer to wrap an athlete's hands. The portable hand-wrapping platform can be used by boxers, mixed martial artists, or any sports athlete for whom hand-wrapping is necessitated by the nature of a particular sport or activity. The portable hand-wrapping platform is designed to be attached to the backrest of one or two common, folding chairs. The hand-wrapping platform has a rigid bottom section that is configured to temporarily affix to either one chair back or to two chairs facing back-to-back. A padded upper surface provides a platform for an athlete to rest his forearm while a trainer wraps the athlete's hands.

A portable frame apparatus and associated methods of use are disclosed. The apparatus includes a frame. The frame includes a first support member, a second support member, and at least one connecting member. The connecting member is configured to be coupled to the first support member at a first end of the connecting member and to the second support member at a second end of the connecting member. The first support member, the second support member and the connecting member form a rigid structure that provides support to a user of the portable frame apparatus.

A multi-function seat cushion including an inner layer adapted to resist compression in response to force applied in a longitudinal direction of the inner layer, and compress in response to force applied in a transverse direction of the inner layer, such that the multi-function seat cushion can be used as an armrest or armrest extension when in a first orientation, and can be used as a lumbar support when oriented in a second orientation different from the first orientation.

A furniture accessory includes an armrest body and an insertion plate moveably coupled to the armrest body and configured for mounting to a furniture item. A bracket system securable to modular units for releasably coupling the modular units together. In an example, the bracket system comprises a set of main brackets comprising front and rear frame extension brackets securable to base structural members of a first main unit. Each of the front and rear frame extension brackets comprises a beam comprising a post end and an opposed hook end. Each of the front and rear frame extension brackets also includes a rigid post secured proximate to the post end, a hook secured to the hook end of the beam, and a main bracket aperture positioned at each of the post end and the hook end. A convertible beach seat system allows a user to form an arrangement of coupled together beach seats and armrests. Also, a method of forming a beach seat in a beach includes digging a trough or trench for receiving the leg portion of the beach seat and forming a sand-mound back rest for the back portion of the beach set to rest thereon. The beach seat system includes a plurality of beach seats, each having a back portion, a seat portion and a leg portion that are pivotably connected about hinges. Each of the beach seats have attachment apertures along the sides for detachably attaching beach seats together by the insertion of attachment posts that extend between the coupled beach seats. Armrests may be detachably attached to the beach seats. Attachment posts are provided for insertion into attachment apertures to coupled together beach seats or armrests to a beach seat.

A furniture fitting for connecting furniture parts of upholstered furniture has a first fitting part for fastening to a first furniture part and a second fitting part fastenable to a second furniture part. The first fitting part has a base and two axles arranged parallel to one another and parallel to the base. A first one of the axles is fixedly connected to the first fitting part and a second one of the axles is displaceably mounted relative to the first axle perpendicular to the axles against a force of an energy storage device. The second fitting part has a first and a second mount for the first and second axle and is positioned on the first axle with the first mount to pivot around the first axle. The second axle latches into the second mount during pivoting to connect the two fitting parts to each other.

A system and method for aircraft passenger seating allows traditional passenger seats, which have fixed configurations, to meet new specifications. A bottom frame and backrest frame from a traditional passenger seat is used to form a new passenger seat. Features, such as improved cushioning, telescopic or fixed headrests, rotatable or fixed footrests and improve armrest assemblies may be added as part of the new passenger seat.

In one aspect, seating apparatus are described herein. In some embodiments, a seating apparatus comprises a seating surface, two arms projecting upwardly from the seating surface, and a fastening strap. The fastening strap is operable to be adjusted between a tightened position and a loosened position. When the fastening strap is adjusted to the tightened position, it is operable to restrict motion of the seating surface relative to the chair.
