A modular furniture assembly has a modular universal base, an armrest module, and a modular recliner. The armrest is modularly coupled to one side of the modular universal base and includes an armrest member, a stepped member, a base horizontal member, and a base vertical plate. The modular recliner is coupled to another side of the modular universal base, and includes a recliner base and a backrest module. The recliner base has a plurality of frames that are interconnected and mechanically attached to each other. The recliner base includes a recessed surface that forms a transverse gap within the recliner base, and a top support having a flat top surface aligned with top edges of the plurality of frames. The backrest module has two backrest sections with end plates configured to move, respectively, along the recessed surface.

Disclosed is divider for an arm rest including two upright members with the top of the first upright member connected to a top of the second upright member at an acute angle, a bottom of the first upright member, the bottom of the first upright member spaced apart from a bottom of the second upright member, a first horizontal member, the first horizontal member hingedly connected to the bottom of the first upright member; and a second horizontal member, the second horizontal member hingedly connected to the bottom of the second upright member.

A portable armrest divider is disclosed that is mounted on a vehicle armrest and expands the surface area of the original armrest, while providing a vertical separation barrier between the two individuals seated on either side of the armrest. The armrest is portable, in that it folds in half for easy travel.

A quick assembly armrest connecting device includes a connecting head and a receiving seat. The connecting head includes a body extending along a first axis. The receiving seat includes a groove extending along a second axis. The armrest connecting device is movable between an assembled position and a separated position in which the connecting head is separated from the receiving seat. When the armrest connecting device moves from the separated position towards the assembled position, the first axis is parallel to the second axis, and the connecting head moves rectilinearly along the second axis towards the receiving seat and inserts the body into the groove. After the connecting head abuts the bottom side of the groove, the connecting head moves rectilinearly in a radial direction of the second axis relative to the receiving seat, moving the armrest connecting device to the assembled position.

A device for facilitating movement of a user between upright and seated positions relative to a piece of furniture such as a couch is disclosed. The device includes at least one portion to be gripped by the user and at least two stabilizing the device under the furniture cushions during operation thereof.

A stadium chair has a seat frame and a backrest frame pivotally coupled to the seat frame for rotation about an axis parallel to a rear portion of the seat frame. The backrest frame is capable of forward rotation about the axis toward the seat frame and rearward rotation about the axis away from the seat frame. A biasing element coupled to either the seat frame or the backrest frame causes forward biasing of the backrest frame toward a neutral position relative to the seat frame. The biasing element allows for limited rearward rotation of the backrest frame from the neutral position and allows for forward rotation of the backrest frame from the neutral position. The chair preferably is configured to receive optional rotatable armrests that may be installed or removed without the use of tools.

An armrest cover is disclosed for an item of outdoor furniture, such as a chair, a chaise lounge, a bench, or a loveseat. The armrest cover includes: an elongated weather resistant and thermally insulating cushioning pad, the elongated cushioning pad being shaped and sized so as to cover a top surface of an armrest of the outdoor furniture, the elongated cushioning pad having an outer layer made from or bearing attached non-slip material capable of substantially reducing slippage of the elongated cushioning pad along the armrest of the outdoor seating unit when a user of the outdoor seating unit rests an arm on the elongated cushioning pad. An attachment tie or an attachment strap is attached at each end of the elongated cushioning pad, each attachment tie or attachment strap being of a length needed to wrap around the armrest so as to form an attaching structure under the armrest.

Provided herein are modular seating systems for assembling a customizable seating configuration, having: a plurality of frame components, each having: a frame body having legs; a top end having; a groove along each one of the four sides; a corner block at each one of the four corners; a plurality of attachment components, each having: an attachment body; an insert part configured to fit into a groove of the frame components; wherein each attachment component of the plurality of attachment components is configured to associate with any one of the frame components of the plurality of frame components by inserting the insert part of an attachment component into the groove of one of the four sides of the frame body of a frame component.

Provided herein are modular seating systems for assembling a customizable seating configuration, having: a plurality of frame components, each having: a frame body having legs; a top end having; a groove along each one of the four sides; a corner block at each one of the four corners; a plurality of attachment components, each having: an attachment body; an insert part configured to fit into a groove of the frame components; wherein each attachment component of the plurality of attachment components is configured to associate with any one of the frame components of the plurality of frame components by inserting the insert part of an attachment component into the groove of one of the four sides of the frame body of a frame component.

A chair assembly is provided. The chair assembly includes locking members arranged at a joint between a chair chassis and a seat back support and joints between the chair chassis and two armrests correspondingly. An assembly block of the locking member is formed on the chair chassis while an assembly groove of the locking member is formed in both the seat back support and the respective armrests for being fit on the assembly block of the chair chassis correspondingly. Now a tenon disposed on the assembly block is capable of being engaged with a locking hole arranged at the assembly groove. A positioning part elastically abuts against the opposite side walls of the assembly groove. Thereby assembly of the chair chassis with both the seat back support and the armrests is finished easily and quickly. The chair assembly is more comfortable and safe for users sitting thereon.
