A chair, in particular an office chair, has a backrest which is coupled to a seat support by way of a backrest support. The chair further has a seat face. For tool-free chair assembly the backrest support is constructed in two pieces having a first support member which is associated with the seat support and having a second support member which is associated with the backrest and which is joined to the seat-support-side first support member in a positive-locking plug type connection and is locked therein.

[Problem] To present a cover member of a lap cover of a chair and a chair having such member capable of solving the problems due to the space formed between the lap cover and the seat and problems occurring when the lap cover is used.

[Solving Means] A configuration comprising a mounting portion 11 formed along the top surface of a lap cover 31 as being hooked and stopped on the lap cover 31 of a chair 3, a concealing portion 12 for covering the side portion of the lap cover, and a lap cover portion 2 using a sheet material so as to wrap the lap portion in a state sitting on the chair 3, in which the sheet material of the lap cover 2 is integrated with the mounting portion 11 or concealing portion 12.

The present invention relates to a support device for assisting a user in showering or toileting. The support device comprises a seat comprising a seating surface for supporting a weight of the user; a plurality of legs attached to the seat; a pair of handles configured to attach to substantially opposite side portions of the seat, each handle comprising a pair of end portions for attaching to the seat; and a securing element for securing each handle to the seat; wherein each of the substantially opposite side portions of the seat comprises a plurality of receptacles for snugly fitting the end portions of a respective handle, and wherein the support device is configured such that a portion of the user's weight on the handles of the support device applies a force that has a force component directed into each receptacle and parallel to a central axis of each receptacle.

A sofa armrest folding mechanism and a sofa armrest are provided. The sofa armrest folding mechanism includes: side boards, a handle, and folding devices, where the side boards are connected to two sides of the folding devices, respectively; two ends of the handle are connected to top ends of the folding devices, respectively; the folding devices switch between a folded state and an unfolded state through the handle; when the handle is pulled upwards, the folding devices are in the folded state; and when the handle is pushed downwards, the folding devices are in the unfolded state. Connecting teeth on each two adjacent connecting rods are engaged, and the handle is pulled upwards or pushed downwards to drive the side boards to move close to or away from each other, achieving a change in the overall structural state.

A seating furniture includes: a seating furniture plate, wherein a first U-shaped support frame and a second U-shaped support frame are secured on a side of the seating furniture plate; wherein a bottom of the first U-shaped support frame and a bottom of the second U-shaped support frame are abutted against each other at a middle portion of the seating furniture plate and arranged at an angle to form a first cross-over portion; a first connection portion is arranged between opening ends of the first U-shaped support frame, and a second connection portion is arranged between opening ends of the second U-shaped support frame, wherein the first connection portion and the second connection portion are abutted against each other and arranged at an angle to form a second cross-over portion; wherein a support rod is secured between the first cross-over portion and the second cross-over portion.

An arm rest apparatus, according to one embodiment, may comprise: a fixed part fixed to an external object; a horizontal movement module having one end rotatably connected to the fixed part and the other end having two-translational-degree-of-freedom movement with respect to the fixed part; and an arm support module installed to have two rotational degrees of freedom with respect to the other end of the horizontal movement module.

A sling chair includes a frame having a base with a forward end and an opposing rearward end. A back rest upstands from the rearward end of the base and has an upper end. A plurality of flexible, spaced apart straps longitudinally extend from the upper end of the back rest to the forward end of the base. The effective length of the straps can be adjusted. A pillow or cushions can be disposed on the plurality of straps.

A combination furniture includes a base, a main cushion, two armrests, a backrest, and a fastener assembly. The top surface of the base is concavely provided with plural strip-shaped coupling grooves. The main cushion has a bottom plate provided with plural coupling strips integrally projecting from the bottom plate for being coupled with the coupling grooves. A height-adjustable folding chair comprises a first support, a second support, and a seat plate. A middle section of the first support is connected to a middle section of the second support through a hinge shaft, a lower section of the first support and a lower section of the second support each have a bending angle, and two ends of the seat plate are pivotally secured with a first support upper cross rod and a second support upper cross rod respectively. The seat plate has a side A and a side B. When the first support and the second support are unfolded in an X shape, a bent section of the first support and a bent section of the second support are bent facing each other or are bent facing away from each other.
