Exercise ball chair
The exercise ball chair stabilizes an exercise ball so that it can be used as a comfortable chair. While seated in the exercise ball chair, a user may perform seated-workout exercises. The exercise ball chair comprises a left support, a right support, and a ball retainer. The ball retainer pivots between a ball retention position and a ball release position. An exercise ball is placed in the chair such that the left support, the right support, and the ball retainer, in the ball retention position, capture the exercise ball and prevent it from rolling. A user may then sit on the exercise ball. A left adjustment knob and a right adjustment knob allow the ball retainer to be locked to prevent it from pivoting. With the adjustment knobs loosened, the ball retainer may be pivoted to the ball release position and the exercise ball may be removed.
INFLATABLE PILLOW SYSTEM
An inflatable pillow system includes a pillow formed of an upper and lower bladder that may be independently inflated and deflated. A controller includes an air mover, a valve assembly, and a control box. The valve assembly includes an air line to the upper bladder, and an air line to the lower bladder. Each of an upper air line valve and a lower air line valve is urged into a closed position by an valve spring, and is movable into an open position by an valve servo. The air line valves may include hollow valve plungers, so that the valve springs extend into the plungers. The control box has an input for inflating and deflating the upper bladder, and an input for inflating and deflating the lower bladder.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A MODULAR ERGONOMIC CHAIR WITHOUT USING FASTENERS
An apparatus/method for assembling a modular ergonomic chair without using fasteners including a seat support structure that includes a plurality of recesses, wherein each recess includes a releasable latch mechanism (RLM); a vertical seat shaft; a pedestal; a first and second arm rest each of which include an arm rest connecting member, wherein the arm rest connecting member has a cavity to receive a RLM latch member of the seat support structure; and a back support, which includes a connecting member, wherein the connecting member also has a cavity to receive the latch member of another RLM of the seat support structure. The back support, first arm rest, and second arm rest are removably coupled to the seat support structure to permit easy assembly and interchanging of seat components. A reclining back support embodiment is also provided using a RLM latch spring with a corresponding connecting member in the seat support structure.
Modular furniture assembly
A modular furniture assembly has a modular universal base, an armrest module, and a modular recliner. The armrest is modularly coupled to one side of the modular universal base and includes an armrest member, a stepped member, a base horizontal member, and a base vertical plate. The modular recliner is coupled to another side of the modular universal base, and includes a recliner base and a backrest module. The recliner base has a plurality of frames that are interconnected and mechanically attached to each other. The recliner base includes a recessed surface that forms a transverse gap within the recliner base, and a top support having a flat top surface aligned with top edges of the plurality of frames. The backrest module has two backrest sections with end plates configured to move, respectively, along the recessed surface.
Fixing device for an armrest of an automobile seat and automobile seats
The present disclosure discloses a fixing device for an armrest of a car seat and a car seat, the fixing device comprises a fixing protrusion connected to the lower part of the armrest and a fixing recess arranged on each side of a cushion of the car seat, the fixing recess is close to a seat back of the car seat, and the fixing protrusion can be inserted into the fixing recess; one of the fixing protrusion and the fixing recess is provided with a locking projection, and the other is provided with a locking notch, the locking projection can be engaged to the locking notch, so that the fixing protrusion can be fixed into the fixing recess. The fixing device according to the present disclosure provides sufficient connection strength between the armrest and the car seat, and the assembly is convenient.
Modular sofa
A modular furnishing may have a standard configuration and a deep seating configuration. The standard configuration includes a horizontally oriented rectangular base component and a first vertically oriented side component. The horizontally oriented rectangular base component has a front side, a left side, a right side, and a back side. The first vertically oriented side component is coupled to the back side of the horizontally oriented rectangular base component. A length of the first vertically oriented side component is longer than a length of the horizontally oriented rectangular base component. In the deep seating configuration, the first vertically oriented side component is configured to be coupled to the left side of the horizontally oriented rectangular base component, a left side of a base depth extension coupled to the back side of the horizontally oriented rectangular base component, and a left side of an additional vertically oriented component coupled to a back side of the base depth extension.
