LIFTING SEAT
The invention discloses a lifting seat, which has an upper cushion assembly, a lower cushion assembly, an elastic member and an adjustment structure. One end of the upper cushion assembly is rotatably connected with one end of the lower cushion assembly, and the elastic member is arranged between the upper cushion assembly and the lower cushion assembly; wherein, the upper cushion assembly and the lower cushion assembly rotate relatively to have an open state and a closed state. The elastic member is in compression state when it is closed, and the adjustment structure is used to change the torque of the upper cushion assembly to the elastic member when it is open and closed. The technical solution provided by the invention can solve the problem that the existing lifting seat cannot fully satisfy the user's sit-to-stand requirements.
SLIDABLE LIFTING SEAT APPARATUS AND METHOD TO ASSIST STANDING UP
Methods and apparatuses are disclosed to help the elderly or physically impaired individual standing up from a chair, a bench, a wheel chair, a toilet seat, a commode, a rollator seat, a walker seat, or a car seat. The disclosed apparatus to generate lifting thrust for individual to stand up from a chair has a base, a slidable seat pivoted mounted on the base and a lifting spring to reserve the energy on sitting down and release the saved energy on standing up.
SELF-STOWAGE ASSEMBLY FOR A SEAT
A seat with self-stowage capability is provided. The seat includes a seat pan lever which is rotatable between stowed and open positions, a fixed seat structure and an elastic assembly. The fixed seat structure includes an annulus. The elastic assembly includes a damper and an arc-spring disposable within the annulus to permit first rotations of the seat pan lever from the stowed position to the open positions and to urge second rotations of the seat pan lever from the open positions to the stowed position.
TILTING MECHANISM FOR CHAIRS
A tilting mechanism (1) for chairs includes a support frame (2), a structure (4) rotationally coupled to the support frame. An elastic system (80) is interposed between the support frame and the structure to counteract a reaction to the tilting of the structure from an at-rest position to a tilted position. An adjustment system (20) is capable of varying the reaction to the tilting. The elastic system (80) includes at least one elastic element (12) and a first and a second stop element (81, 82) fastened at respective longitudinal end portions of the elastic element, respectively. In the at-rest position, the first and second stop elements are in contact with each other, and the elastic element (12) is in a deformed configuration and generates a residual elastic force that is at least partially released on the first and second stop elements.
Physical Motion Device
A physical motion device having an upper surface and a lower surface that are separated by a fulcrum, the upper surface being a tilting and rotating surface that causes and/or enables a user who is sitting on the upper surface to engage in dynamic sitting.
Folding Chair With Reduced Footprint
A chair including a support, a backrest with a backrest frame hingedly connected to the support, a seat bottom with a seat frame hingedly connected to the backrest and a bracket extending rearward from the seat frame, a linkage arm with a proximal end hingedly connected to the support at a fixed vertical position and a distal end hingedly connected to the bracket, and a return mechanism. Rotation of the seat bottom from a closed position to an open position causes, by way of interaction between the linkage arm and the bracket, the seat bottom to move forward from the support and the backrest to rotate about the support and recline.
Outdoor seating furniture
Outdoor seating furniture is provided, which includes at least one seat element arranged on a frame with a seat surface and a reverse side, wherein, in a basic state, the seat surface is oriented downwards and, in a functional state, the seat surface is oriented upwards. The seat element as part of a pivot bearing is pivotably mounted about the longitudinal axis of a transverse strut of the frame and is stabilized by force of gravity, force of spring, magnetic force and/or an electromechanical actuator in the basic state.
ADJUSTABLE PASSIVE STANDING ASSISTANCE DEVICE
The purpose of this device is to give assistance to a person that is standing in a particular area for an extended amount of time. This is achieved for people of different heights by having a rotating joint at the base. A saddle joint at the base of the housing enables this device to be adjustable. The seat portion can rotate to adjust to different people. This supporting system is designed to bear some of the load while standing, to accommodate a more ergonomic environment for the person standing.
FLEXIBLE CROWD SEATING
A seat unit (4) for use in a stepped seating venue comprises a rear frame (11) having a fixed back support (17), a fold away seat pan (21) pivotally mounted with respect to the rear frame (11) on a pair of seat pan pivots (23) and forward of the rear frame (11) when in use. The seat pan (21) folds against the rear frame (11) when not in use. A second frame (25) to support feet is also pivotally mounted on frame (11) below the seat pan pivots (23). The second frame (25) moves in tandem with the seat pan (21) from an open position substantially parallel to the seat pan (21) when the seat pan is in use to a position against the rear frame (11) when the seat pan (21) is not in use.
