DAMPED HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR STADIUM SEATING
A damped hinge assembly for a self-raising seat bottom for preventing the seat bottom from noticeably bouncing at its topmost position. The damped hinge assembly includes a clutch damping mechanism that is engaged at an intermediate position between its lowered position and topmost position to begin slowing the rotation of the seat bottom. The clutch damping mechanism has a number of adjacent plates with a viscous material disposed between them. When the clutch damping mechanism is engaged the plates rotate against one another and the viscous material applies a drag force that resists the rotation to slow the return of the seat bottom to its upright stored position.
Folding chair having friction damping part
A folding chair having a friction damping part for decelerating a rotary speed of a seat board is provided. The folding chair comprises the seat board vertically rotatably supported between a pair of stand frames, a rotary connection part connecting the seat board to the pair of stand frames to be vertically rotatable while having a rotary shaft line as a center of rotation, and a damping part capable of decelerating a rotary speed of the seat board. The damping part comprises a friction clutch disposed on the rotary shaft line and having a friction surface arranged in a direction perpendicular to the rotary shaft line, a clutch pressure plate integrally rotating with the seat board and having a pressure surface configured to come in contact with the friction surface of the friction clutch, and an elastic pressure body elastically pressing the clutch pressure plate toward the friction clutch.
Chair with an elastic lifting seat pan
The present invention application relates to a chair with an elastic lifting seat pan, which comprises a chair body, a transmitting component, a driving component, and a seat pan firmly connecting plane connecting seat of a pair of link plates of the transmitting component. When the user is seated on the seat pan, the torsion spring is deformed with the rotation of the spindle, accumulating elastic potential energy and damping the descent of the seat pan. When the user stands up from the seat pan, the torsion spring releases the elastic potential energy to drive the spindle reversely and help the user to stand up. The chair with an elastic lifting seat pan according to the embodiment of the present invention application can be used to help the elderly and the weak people, and also to relax in public places and leisure places to reduce fatigue.
REMOVAL MECHANISM
A chair component (200, 102) for a chair (100) is provided with a gas spring receiving hole (202) into which an end of a gas spring (104) of the chair (100) is insertable, and a removal mechanism (220) for removing the gas spring (104) from the chair component (200, 102). The removal mechanism (220) comprises a threaded bolt (222) arranged in a threaded hole (204) in the chair component (200, 102). The threaded hole (204) is arranged adjacent to the gas spring receiving hole (202). A longitudinal axis of the threaded hole (204) is essentially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the gas spring receiving hole (202). A screw drive (226) is provided at a first end of the threaded bolt (222) for turning the threaded bolt (222) in the threaded hole (204). An overlap element (228) is provided at a second end of the threaded bolt (222). The overlap element (228) extends in a radial direction beyond an outer circumference of the thread of the threaded bolt (222) to such an extent that the overlap element (228) at least partially overlaps the gas spring receiving hole (202).
