Seat lock
The present invention relates to a seat lock including: a fixed bracket fixed to a leg of a chair; a locking unit disposed on the fixed bracket; and a movable bracket fixed to a seat of the chair in such a manner as to rotate together with the seat and having a seat rotation shaft and a locking piece coupled to an end periphery of the seat rotation shaft in such a manner as to be exposed to the outside, wherein the locking unit includes a driving motor having a driving shaft, a driving cam fitted to the driving shaft of the driving motor, and a latch rotating in a range of a given angle around a shaft fixed to the fixed bracket to limit the rotational movement of the locking piece. According to the present invention, the seat lock can utilize the locking unit to allow the seat to be more efficiently managed.
Support for seating furniture and item of seating furniture
A support for a piece of seating furniture provides an additional degree of freedom of movement. The support has a connecting unit fitted on a main body that connects to a supporting element of an underframe. The connecting unit has a mounting device for the supporting element, in particular a mount for the upper end of the supporting element. The connecting unit is fitted on the main body such that it is possible to alter the inclination of the main body relative to the supporting element. For that purpose the main body has a preferably convex contact base, which in the fitted state is contacted by a contact head of the connecting unit, with the abutment forming a non-planar contact rather than a contact over a surface area, in particular a punctiform contact.

LOCKING DEVICE FOR FURNITURE, ROTATABLE FURNITURE AND METHOD FOR LOCKING A ROTATABLE FURNITURE
A locking device for furniture, in particular for furniture which may be adjusted by rotation of a furniture section. The locking device includes: an axle which is rotatable for adjusting the furniture and which has an engagement recess limited to a predetermined angular segment about the axle; a blocking element which is configured for rotational blocking of the axle by engaging in the engagement recess; a support bearing which is configured to support the blocking element in a fixed rotational manner about the axle; and an adjusting ring rotating about the axle, which has a contoured recess for radial adjustment of the blocking element within the support bearing upon rotation of the adjusting ring about the axle, wherein the blocking element is engageable in the engagement recess by the radial adjustment, so that the axle is lockable rotationally with the support bearing by means of the blocking element.

Translating, locking, and rotating leg rest mechanism
A foot and leg rest deployment mechanism prevents the leg rest from rotating into an upright, deployed orientation until fully translated. Likewise, the deployment mechanism prevents the leg rest from translating while in an upright orientation. A rotation arm with a rotation locking channel prevents rotation until a locking arm is disengaged from the rotation locking channel via the locking arm engaging a translation locking portion of a translation channel. A single, linear actuator applies a force to cause both translation and rotation where the leg rest deployment mechanism controls the order of steps of deployment.

Locking device for furniture, rotatable furniture and method for locking a rotatable furniture
A locking device for furniture, in particular for furniture which may be adjusted by rotation of a furniture section is provided. The locking device includes an axle which is rotatable for adjusting the furniture and which has an engagement recess limited to an angular segment about the axle. The locking device further includes a blocking element which is configured for rotational blocking of the axle by engaging in the engagement recess. The locking device further includes a support bearing which is configured to support the blocking element in a fixed rotational manner about the axle. The locking device further includes an adjusting ring rotating about the axle, which has a contoured recess for radial adjustment of the blocking element within the support bearing upon rotation of the adjusting ring about the axle. Systems and methods for providing a convertible cupholder
A convertible cupholder device that is configured to have a cupholder element of the device be selectively rotated and/or otherwise be moved between a variety of positions is described. As a result of its construction, when the convertible cupholder is coupled to a movable object (e.g., a pivoting member of a convertible bench), the cupholder element can be moved to and/or be retained in one or more desired positions (e.g., an upright position) when the movable object is pivoted and/or otherwise moved through a range of motion. Other implementations are described.
