GASIFICATION SYSTEM
Processes and systems are provided for converting a carbonaceous feedstock into a reaction gas and a syngas, involving a step of pyrolysing and methanating the feedstock in a pyrolysis chamber to produce the reaction gas and a step of gasifying unconverted feedstock in the presence of a reactant to produce a syngas.
Gasification system
A gasification system method and apparatus to convert a feed stream containing at least some organic material into synthesis gas having a first region, a second region, a gas solid separator, and a means for controlling the flow of material from the first region to the second region. The feed stream is introduced into the system, and the feed stream is partially oxidized in the first region thereby creating a solid material and a gas material. The method further includes the steps of separating at least a portion of the solid material from the gas material with the gas solid separator, controlling the flow of the solid material into the second region from the first region, and heating the solid material in the second region with an electrical means.

PYROLYSIS OR GASIFICATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A pyrolysis apparatus having a heating system adapted to heat a first gas enclosure, wherein a gas path within the heated enclosure is helical or spherical. Pyrolysis is used to destroy oils, tars and/or PAHs in a gaseous mixture.
Refractory walls, and gasification devices and methods
A refractory wall comprises a hotface layer comprising a hotface surface configured to be adjacent to a carbonaceous gasification environment, a backing layer facing the hotface layer, and a cooling layer facing the backing layer and configured to cool the hotface layer via the backing layer. A gasification device and a gasification process are also presented.

Gasification furnace, gasification power plant, and method of preventing blockage of slag hole in gasification furnance
An object is to prevent blockage of a slag hole with char and slag, enabling stable operation of a gasification furnace. In a configuration in which a heat exchanger (20) is provided above a coal gasification portion (10), the diameters (D1, D3) of the slag hole (16) and the throat portion (17) are set to three times or more the pitch (ST) of rows of heat exchange tubes (21). By doing so, blockage of the slag hole (16) or the throat portion (17) with char and a sintered material (50) falling from the heat exchanger (20) is prevented, enabling stable operation of a coal gasification furnace (101).

Reactor, method of increasing the efficiency in a reactor and use of the reactor
The present invention concerns a reactor (1) for the gasification of organic material included in composite raw material and the separation of gasified organic material from inorganic material included in the composite raw material, the reactor comprising at least one reaction chamber (2) and at least one rotor (3), said reaction chamber (2) comprising at least one housing (6, 6a, 6b) that is sealed in relation to the surroundings and has at least one inlet opening (8a, 8b, 8c) and at least one outlet opening (9a, 9b) and said rotor (3) comprising at least one shaft (5). Said housing (6, 6a, 6b) is in heat exchanging contact with at least one channel (20) intended to convey gas for heat exchange between the gas and said housing (6, 6a, 6b). Said housing (6, 6a, 6b) is preferably cylindrical and has a primarily circular cross-section in a plane that is primarily perpendicular to a principal direction of extension of said at least one shaft (5), said channel (20) being in contact with at least one-third of the radial external envelope surface of said housing (6, 6a, 6b) and in addition entirely or partly surrounding said at least one inlet opening (8a, 8b, 8c). At least a first part of said rotor (3) is situated in said housing (6, 6a, 6b) and said shaft (5) extends in only one direction from said first part through and out of said housing (6, 6a, 6b). The present invention also concerns a method of increasing the efficiency in the reactor (1) and the use of the reactor (1).
