Apparatus includes a liner with a liner image. The liner is configured to be selectively positioned over a holder surface of a holder assembly. This is done in such a way that the liner, in use, positions the liner image in such a way that the liner image, in use, faces away from the holder assembly. A cover assembly is configured to selectively cover the liner image of the liner. The cover assembly is also configured to reveal the liner image formed on the liner once: (A) the liner, in use, is selectively positioned over the holder assembly, and (B) the cover assembly, in use, selectively covers the liner image formed on the liner. The liner, in use, visually enhances (changes) an appearance of the holder assembly once the liner is selectively positioned between the cover assembly and the holder assembly. The cover assembly is configured to protect, in use, the liner once the cover assembly, in use, is positioned proximate (adjacent) to the liner.

A modular attachment system may be provided with the ability to rapidly interchange different peripherals and accessories at different points where modular receivers have been installed. One or more modular receivers may include one or more quick-connect receptacles adapted to receive corresponding one or more quick connectors of one or more peripheral adapters to quickly connect and disconnect the modular peripheral adapters to facilitate rapid reconfiguration of chairs, desks, tables, or other furniture for different applications. A variety of peripherals and accessories can be attached to one or more modular peripheral adapters to create peripheral assemblies that can be rapidly interchanged by rapid connection to or disconnection from any installed modular housings to reconfigure furniture for different applications. The modular receivers may be attached to a desk, table, or other furnishings or manufactured as a part of office, computer, or gaming chairs, desks, tables, or other furnishings.

A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The lighted cup holder includes a cup holder body and a light-producing light source, with the cup holder body being attached to the seating arrangement and having a cup receptacle therein, the light-producing source being disposed within the cup receptacle for illuminating the receptacle. A light-sensitive element operatively connected to the light source selectively controls production of light by the light source in such a manner that illumination of the cup holder is provided only under conditions where visibility is reduced to the point that it becomes difficult to locate the cup holder. The light-sensitive element is mounted on a master lighted cup holder and controls illumination of the master lighted cup holder and one or more slave lighted cup holders operatively connected to the master lighted cup holder.

A method and apparatus include attaching a lighted cup holder to a seating arrangement. The present invention relates to guideless, magnetic holders for beverage vessels and the like, and in particular, to devices, systems, sets and methods for providing paired, magnets for application onto, or manufacture thereinto, structures such as automobiles, boats, all-terrain vehicles (ATV's), snowmobiles, recreational vehicles (RV's), personal watercraft, golf carts, kayaks, appliances, tools, lawn tractors, farm equipment, motorcycles, furniture, coolers, stadium seating, and the like, or surface mounted, retrofit kits. A vessel component can be a metal plate with material having increasing width or increasing thickness. A hub support component can have at least one moveable magnet in a chamber, the moveable magnet being initially repulsed by a fixed magnet to a bottom of the chamber. Positioning and rotating the component over the hub increases the magnetic attraction so that the at least one moveable magnet moves upward to a top of the chamber causing a click noise signifying a strong magnetic lock position between the vessel component and the hub. The holder can be used with at least one channel having a moveable magnet therein, where the holder can be attachable to a metal surface.

A classroom chair includes a seat and a backrest, where the chair facilitates a wide variety of uses by an occupant. The backrest includes a center section and a pair of armrest sections that extend from the center section. The pair of armrest sections and center section each include a utility surface located in a plane parallel to a seating plane. Each of the armrest sections includes a lower edge positioned above the lowermost portion of the center section, which allows the occupant's legs to be located beneath the armrest sections. In one embodiment, the classroom chair includes a base having four legs. In another embodiment, the base includes two legs joined to a support frame have four stub legs. At least one of the legs extends rearward past the backrest such that the base provides required support for the occupant when the occupant's weight is supported by the backrest.

A beverage holder attachment securable to a boat seat is provided. The beverage holder attachment includes (1) a flat plate having a length greater than its width, (2) at least one fastener opening adjacent a first end, each sized for a fastener to secure to the boat seat, (3) a cylinder attached via its base end, having diameter suitable for a specified size beverage container, (4) a hole centered within the base end to provide drainage, having diameter less than the cylinder diameter, and (5) first and second flection lines parallel each other extending across the width of the flat plate, providing for bending at the first and second flection lines to situate the base end of the cylinder offset from the flat plate via the specified distance, wherein the beverage holder attachment is securable to an underside of the boat seat to provide for placement of a beverage within the cylinder.
