A collapsible desk system is provided. The desk system may include first and second elongate members having a common central pivot and being pivotal relative to one another in a scissor-like manner. A seat may be attached to one of the elongate members. A support member may be cooperable with the elongate members to selectively retain the elongate members in one or more orientations. A desk top may be pivotally attached to a column. The members, seat, column, and desk top may be arranged with one another to transition between at least a collapsed and an expanded position. A knee support may be mounted to one of the elongate members. The desk top may define a side face having a groove extending about at least a portion of a perimeter of the desk top and the groove may be sized to receive a first fastener tab of an accessory.

A height adjusting mechanism for a dentistry stool comprises a support member, a movable height adjusting assembly and a pushbutton actuator. The support member is coupleable to the stool adjacent a seat of the stool. The movable height adjusting assembly is selectively movable up and down relative to the support member. The pushbutton actuator is positionable on a side of the movable height adjusting assembly adjacent a seated user, and is manually actuatable by the seated user to release the movable height adjusting assembly from a locked position at a current height to allow the movable height adjusting assembly to be moved to a new height. The object of the invention is a convertible, dual function chair for sitting and kneeling, which gives the possibility of changing the position and relieving the spinal column during a prolonged work in a sitting position.
The dual function chair for sitting and kneeling is equipped with a movable backrest and headrest support, shaped in the lower part in such a way that its displacement changes the size of the chair simultaneously vertically and horizontally. It is also equipped with a sliding-rotating-returning or a sliding-returning backrest device, which makes it follow the user's back and support it accurately at every angle of inclination of the backrest when tilting the backrest. It is also equipped with a headrest connected to the headrest arm through a rotary-sliding mechanism, which rotationally connects with the backrest support, and has a specially shaped five-star base, in which the arms, apart from the fragment above the wheels, are maximally flattened and located as low as possible above the ground.

A chair for supporting a body of a user in a substantially upright position relative to a vertical-axis; the chair includes a frame, a chest-support, a seat and at least one knee-support. The subject matter of the invention is a convertible bi-functional chair for sitting and kneeling, which allows to change positions and relieve the spine during long-lasting work involving sitting or long travels by plane, bus or train.
The bi-functional chair for sitting and kneeling comprises a movable rotating seat (1), back rest (3) and knee support (6). It is equipped with devices allowing to change the distance between the front edge of the seat and the back rest, the angle of inclination of the back rest with regard to the seat and the height of the back rest with regard to the seat, which enables converting the seat and back rest for classic sitting into a seat and back rest for kneeling and vice versa.

Ergonomic chair
A chair having a contoured seat cushion mounted on top of an exercise ball with four tension-adjustable elastic cords such as bungee cords is provided. The shock absorbing cords may attach to the underside of the seat cushion by looping through spring-eye carabiner type hooks, and may pass through grooved locking tubes with v-channels for adjusting the cord tension. The ball may sit on top of a swivel plate, so that dynamic motion and counterbalancing are attainable for a variety of ergonomically beneficial seating styles.

The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the tattoo artist. A method for using a tattoo stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably tattoo a portion of the subject positioned in front of the stool.
