Adjustable Breast Pump Flange

An adjustable breast pumping flange is provided. The breast pumping flange allows for adjustment of the flange angle relative to a bottle to which the flange connects. This allows for a nursing mother to more comfortably position the flanges and bottles during a pumping session. This increased comfort in turn allows for improved and more efficient milk collection.

An apparatus that supports a user in a variety of positions to comfortably perform tasks, such as applying one or more tattoos to skin of a subject is herein disclosed. The apparatus can be reconfigured to optimally position and support the arms and/or chest of the user. A method for using a stool can involve rotating armrests of the apparatus from a stowed position to a deployed position. The armrests can support the user's forearms while supporting the user's chest such that the user can comfortably perform tasks in front of a chest support of the stool.

The invention is characterised in that the seat (110) is arranged to support the posterior thigh (11) and/or buttocks (12) of a seated user (10) such that the femur bone (13) of the seated user (10) is downwards inclined in the anterior direction at an angle of at least 40° downwards in relation to the horizontal, in that the lower leg support (120) is arranged to support the anterior side of the lower legs (14) of the seated user (10), and in that the chest support (130) is arranged to support the chest (15) of the seated user (10) in a forward leaning position of the seated user (10) such that the third lumbar vertebrae body (16) of the seated user (10) is arranged in a support plane (150), which support plane (150) is per-pendicular to the sagittal plane of the user and in which support plane (150) the respective pivot point (17) of the seated user's (10) hip joints and the respective pivot point (18) of the seated user's (10) shoulder joints are also arranged when the posture of the seated user (10) is symmetric about the seated user's (10) sagittal plane.

The assembly allows for a breast pumping mother to be optimally positioned and comfortable while pumping breast milk, leading to quicker and more effective pumping. The breast pumping assembly and the chair are adjustable to adapt for different sized mothers and changing body size and shape as pumping progresses.

Seat assembly

Seat assemblies are provided. In some embodiments, a seat assembly includes a seat member having a first seat surface, a second seat surface, and a third seat surface opposite the second seat surface. The third seat surface is substantially parallel to the second seat surface and the first seat surface is substantially perpendicular to both the second seat surface and the third seat surface. The seat assembly also includes a first side panel affixed to the second seat surface and a second side panel affixed to the third seat surface. Each one of those panels is substantially perpendicular to the first seat surface. The seat assembly further includes a bin movably affixed to the first side panel and the second side panel. The bin includes an open compartment and can be moved between a closed position that obstructs the compartment and an open position that permits access to the compartment.

The kneeling cushion portion is movable between a first position aligned with the seat portion and a second position in which the kneeling cushion portion constitutes a balance chair cushion. The movement of the seat portion is linked to movement of the kneeling cushion portion.

A novel lightweight, high stability ergonomic chair, enabling sitting, and leaning in a perched intermediary position between sitting and standing. An inclined saddle type seat is supported by three legs. A forward chair leg is located between the feet of, and beneath the center of gravity of the seated person. Two chair legs extend rearward. The chair permits rocking backwards, diagonally forward, and rocking about the forward chair leg. This “active seating” provides for easy transitions between sitting and standing, shifting of weight, and conveys an open positive body language. The base assembly and the vertical assembly are connected to a support structure and are collectively disposable into and out of a first travel position, a second travel position, and a third travel position. In the first and second travel positions a user or passenger may assume a usual sitting position. In the third travel position the user may assume a reverse sitting position. The base assembly comprises a right segment and a left segment connected and rotationally movable to a central segment. The vertical assembly comprises a lower segment and an upper segment connected to and rotationally movable a middle segment. The reversible seat assembly may further comprise a back armrest connected to an opposite side of said middle segment and structure to provide support to the arms of the user.
