ACTIVATING PLATFORM
20190150623 · 2019-05-23 ·

An activating platform is disclosed. The platform includes a base that has a lower surface that is curved in a direction transverse to a longitudinal axis. The curved shape of the base provokes a user rock around in a small angle around a middle position, thereby promoting active sitting.

LEG UNIT FOR A WEARABLE SITTING POSTURE ASSISTING DEVICE
20190133805 · 2019-05-09 ·

A leg unit for a wearable sitting posture assisting device, comprises an upper support designed to receive a weight force of a person, a lower support designed to transmit the person's weight force to a ground, a joint connecting the at least two supports to each other, and a blocking means implementing a blocked state to block the joint at at least one sitting angle corresponding to an at least partly sitting posture, the leg unit comprising a guiding means for the blocking means, which guiding means is designed to allow a rotation of the joint while the blocking means is in the blocked state, to a wearable sitting posture assisting device, comprising two of these leg units, and to a method to block such a wearable sitting posture assisting device in an at least partly sitting posture.

A CHAIR

A chair includes a seat (2) and also includes a pair of thigh support elements (17) pivotal n a generally downwardly direction about front pivot axes (20) from a first state forming with a central seat element (15) a substantially common plane, to a second downwardly extending state. The elements (17) are also pivotal about second pivot axes in a generally rearwardly direction for urging the user's thighs away from each other for stretching the adductor muscles. Foot support members (49) extend transversely and sidewardly on respective opposite sides of the chair (1) from a support element (46) for supporting the foot during a stretching exercise with the corresponding thigh of the subject extending downwardly from the seat (14) and the lower leg extending from the knee in a upwardly inclined direction to the foot support member (49) for stretching the quadriceps and the hip flexor muscles of the subject.

A seat unit for a wearable sitting posture assisting device includes at least one sitting means designed to form an adjustable and/or self-adjusting seat surface to be used in at least one at least partly sitting posture and in a walking mode, and a frame means designed to receive a weight force of a person sitting on the sitting means that is mounted on the frame means, and to a wearable sitting posture assisting device with such a seat unit.

TILTABLE STOOL AND TILTABLE LOUNGE CHAIR

A tiltable stool includes a seat support, a seat, and a tilt mechanism. The seat is mounted to an upper end of the seat support. The tilt mechanism allows the seat to tilt in a desired direction. The tilt mechanism includes a coiled wave spring, an upper spring retainer and a lower spring retainer, a fastener bolt, and a tilt limiter. The upper spring retainer and the lower spring retainer are disposed opposite each other to sandwich the coiled wave spring therebetween. The fastener bolt pivotably holds the upper spring retainer in position. The tilt limiter is disposed inside the coiled wave spring and is secured to either one of the spring retainers. The tilt limiter includes a conical surface thereon which contacts a contact surface when the seat tilts to a predetermined tilt angle. The upper spring retainer is secured to a lower end of the seat support.

CHAIR-TYPE VIRTUAL REALITY CONTROLLER

The inventive concept relates to a chair-type virtual reality controller, wherein the chair-type virtual reality controller includes a seat on which a user is seated, a base on which feet of the user seated on the seat rest, wherein a walking motion of the user is performed on the base; a rotary shaft rotatably coupled to the base such that the seat rotates relative to the base; and a control unit configured to present a VR image to the user based on a rotation motion of a body of the user seated on the seat around the rotary shaft and the walking motion of the user on the base.

Adjustable Slant Board
20190090638 · 2019-03-28 ·

The Adjustable Slant Board was developed to provide a comfortable alternative to sitting, standing, and lying down. It is a collapsible apparatus that when erect allows the user to stand and recline on a platform. The device is comprised of several sections which provide for the adjustment of the angle of the slant board when in use. Reclining the body in an erect position relieves pressure on the lower back while allowing the user the ability to perform many tasks of daily living. When placed in the most comfortable position, the user is free to watch TV eat, read, use electronic devices, etc. The collapsibility of the Adjustable Slant Board allows it to be stored out of the way if only needed occasionally. Slant boards have been used previously in exercise equipment primarily to invert the body. A slant board designed to provide a stable platform from which to perform other tasks more comfortably is novel.

Method and device for attaching an aircraft or spacecraft component to a fuselage section

This relate to a method for attaching a component to a fuselage section of an aircraft or spacecraft. In a step of the method, a rail is arranged within a fuselage section of an aircraft, which rail extends in a longitudinal direction of the fuselage section. In another step, a support structure is movably mounted to the rail such that the support structure can be moved along the rail in the longitudinal direction of the fuselage section. The support structure comprises a positioning unit for positioning a tool for attaching the component to the fuselage section at a location where the component is to be attached to the fuselage section. The embodiments also relate to a device for attaching a component to a fuselage section of an aircraft.

An activating platform is disclosed. The platform includes a curved support plate. The support plate is divided into a standing area and a sitting area, the sitting area including a chair with a mounting arrangement and a seat. The curved shape of the support plate is meant to provoke the balance of a user standing or sitting on the platform, i.e. that the user has to use the muscles actively to hold the balance. Naturally, the user will rock around in a small angle around a middle position and flex in the hips and back to maintain the balance.
