Seat Assembly
Seat assemblies are provided. In some embodiments, a seat assembly includes a seat member having a first seat surface, a second seat surface, and a third seat surface opposite the second seat surface. The third seat surface is substantially parallel to the second seat surface and the first seat surface is substantially perpendicular to both the second seat surface and the third seat surface. The seat assembly also includes a first side panel affixed to the second seat surface and a second side panel affixed to the third seat surface. Each one of those panels is substantially perpendicular to the first seat surface. The seat assembly further includes a bin movably affixed to the first side panel and the second side panel. The bin includes an open compartment and can be moved between a dosed position that obstructs the compartment and an open position that permits access to the compartment.
TECHNICIAN'S WORK CHAIR
A technician's work chair having a frame, an air cushion assembly, a seat assembly, and air hose and a pivoting hose support. The air cushion assembly is attached to the frame and supports the frame on an air cushion formed above a floor surface. The seat assembly has a cushion portion on the frame and a seatback portion with a mechanism that changes an angle of inclination of the seatback portion. A technician seated in the seat assembly can ergonomically operate tools and complete tasks with arms raised over the technician's head. The air hose having a first end connected to a compressed air source and a second end connected to the air cushion assembly. The pivoting hose support biases the air hose to move in a rearward direction relative to the technician's work chair.
Multi-configuration mechanical apparatus
A multi-configuration apparatus includes a first frame assembly positionable in a first plane and wheels secured thereto such that it is moveable along a surface, a second frame assembly moveably secured to the first frame assembly, and a third frame assembly detachably secured to the second frame assembly. The second frame assembly is moveable between at least a first configuration to move the third frame assembly into a substantially coplanar relationship with the first plane, and a second configuration to move the third frame assembly in a raised configuration relative to the first frame assembly and in a second plane that is substantially parallel to the first plane. The apparatus further includes a support secured to the third frame assembly and wheels such that the third frame assembly is moveable along a surface when the third frame assembly is detached from the second frame assembly.
Lower body support system to facilitate floor level task execution by humans
Wearable systems to partially support the weight of a human user engaged in task performance in a crouched position at or near ground level are presented herein. In one aspect, the wearable systems employ passive mechanisms and the configuration of the support mechanisms is changed by movements of the body of the human user while transitioning from a standing position to a crouched position, and vice-versa. In a further aspect, each passive lower body support assembly includes an auxiliary body support structure to enhance the support of the human user in a crouched position. In another further aspect, each auxiliary body support structure is deployed in coordination with the movement of the seat support structure that supports the human user. In some embodiments, one or more body support structures are constructed from an elastic material that conforms to the ground surface when loaded by the weight of the human user.
TELESCOPIC SINGLE-LEGGED PORTABLE WORKING CHAIR
The present invention relates to a single-legged portable working chair using a compression repulsive force of a spring body, wherein: when used, the telescopic single-legged portable working chair is worn on a user's body such that, when the user sits down, the spring body is compressed by the weight of the user's body to store power, and when the user stands up, the spring body pushes up the user's body using the compressed power, so that the power consumption required for the sitting and standing actions of the body can be reduced; when the user repeatedly lifts a weight, the load applied to the user's joints and muscles is alleviated by the magnitude of a repulsive force of the spring body.
Work chair
A work chair includes a base frame including a transverse portion, a longitudinal portion vertically located on the transverse portion and a plurality of rollers provided at a bottom side thereof, a first pivoting frame pivotally connected to the transverse portion and biasable between a horizontal position and a vertical position, a second pivoting frame including a bottom support portion and a top support portion. The top support portion has one end thereof pivotally connected to the longitudinal portion of the base frame such that the second pivoting frame can be biased to move the top support portion from a vertical position to a horizontal position where the second pivoting frame is placed across the first pivoting frame.
Dual-purpose work chair
A dual-purpose work chair includes a base frame including a transverse portion, a longitudinal portion vertically located on the transverse portion and a plurality of rollers provided at the bottom side thereof, a first pivoting frame pivotally connected to the transverse portion and protruding beyond the base frame and biasable between a horizontal position and a vertical position, a lower seat cushion located on the first pivoting frame, a second pivoting frame pivotally connected to the longitudinal portion and biasable from a vertical position to a horizontal position across the first pivoting frame, and an upper seat cushion located on the second pivoting frame.
TORSO SUPPORT DEVICE
A torso support device for use in performing under-sink tasks includes a pair of panels that is rigid. The panels are mutually hingedly coupled. The panels are configured to selectively position in an extended configuration and a folded configuration. A first coupler is coupled to a bottom face proximate to a first end of the pair of panels. The first coupler is configured to selectively couple to a lower support of a sink cabinet. The panels extend angularly and substantially coplanarly from the sink cabinet. The panels are configured to support a user who is positioned supinely upon the panels. The user is positioned to perform tasks within the sink cabinet. A handle is coupled to the first end of the pair of panels. The handle is configured to be grasped in a hand of the user to lift and position the panels.
