Buoyant Pool Lounge Chair Frame and Buoyant Pool Lounge Chair Using the Same

A buoyant pool lounge chair frame and buoyant pool lounge chair using the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the buoyant pool lounge chair for supporting a person while the buoyant pool chair is floating in water, frame members collectively form an open chair frame including a back frame and leg frame pivotally coupled thereto. Buoyant cushions are attached to the frame members to form a chair seat, a backrest, and a leg rest. A pair of rear pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies are coupled to the seat frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of recline of the back frame relative to the seat frame. Similarly, a pair of front pivotal coupling and clutch assemblies coupled to the leg frame and to the back frame to adjust and fix the angle of extension of the leg frame relative to the seat frame.

MODULAR FLOTATION DEVICE WITH MECHANISM TO REMOVABLY ATTACH TO OTHER MODULAR DEVICES

One or more embodiments disclosed herein relate generally to flotation devices, and more specifically to modular flotation devices with a mechanism to removably attach to other modular devices. In one embodiments, an apparatus includes a first flotation module and a first connector coupled to the first flotation module. The first connector has a first end portion, a second end portion and a sidewall extended from the first end portion to the second end portion. The sidewall defines a plurality of circumferentially defined stepped portions configured to matingly engage a second connector of a second flotation module to couple the first flotation module to the second flotation module. The first connector is selectively operative as one of a female connector or a male connector with respect to the second connector.

FLOATING MATTRESS CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING AT LEAST ONE USER OR ONE OBJECT ON THE WATER THANKS TO THE BUOYANCY THEREOF

A floating mattress capable of supporting at least one user or one object on the water, comprising a set of foam layers, the set of foam layers comprising a plurality of foam layers including at least one first buoyancy layer comprising a first foam composition, the first buoyancy layer being intended to be positioned opposite to the surface of the water and a second comfort layer comprising a second foam composition, the second comfort layer being intended to be opposite to the at least one user or object.

METHODS FOR IMPROVING UPTAKE OF BOTULINUM NEUROTOXIN

Methods for increasing specific uptake of a Botulinum neurotoxin are provided. Specific neurotoxin uptake by cells capable of being intoxicated by Botulinum neurotoxin is enhanced by increasing temperature from about 37 C. to up to about 41 C., as indicated by a decrease in the EC.sub.50 found for cells so treated. The effect requires the presence of both heavy and light chains of the Botulinum neurotoxin, and is serotype selective.

ADJUSTABLE FLOTATION DEVICE

A flotation device includes a main body portion having a leg rest, seat, back rest, and headrest. Arms are adjustably attached to the back rest via hinge mechanisms which allow the arms to be pivoted towards and away from the main body portion, and which allow the length of the arms' extension from the main body portion to be adjusted. In alternative embodiments, cupholders are secured in apertures in the arms, with headrest extensions providing additional buoyance to the head rest portion.

Ultimate tanning lounge

An inflatable tanning lounge for prone or supine use in absolute comfort, with better resistance to bending. Thus a user laying prone will not hyper-extend their back, because the craft remains straight. An improved headrest design with improved structural integrity preventing the aft perimeter of the headrest from folding down when a user, laying prone, places their forehead upon the aft perimeter of the headrest. Said user's face is removed from the sun, and held above the craft, unconfined, with abundant ventilation in total comfort. When laying supine, the headrest provides a large area for a user's entire head. Lay prone or supine in bed like comfort. Another feature is an open walled cavity vertically through the craft, beneath the headrest and below user's face laying prone. This cavity provides tremendously more space below the user's face, more ventilation, and is claustrophobic friendly.

FLOATING LOUNGE WITH ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT MEMBER

A floating lounge comprising an outer, buoyant member surrounding a support member in the form of a panel of material extending forward from the rear of the lounge. The support member wraps around the front end of the lounge and extends back toward the rear of the lounge. Connectors provided on the longitudinal edges of the support member allow the forward-extending portion of the support member to be secured to the rearward-extending portion to form a sling depending between the front and rear sides of the lounge, for supporting the user, and whereby the user may choose among several possible shapes for the support member by appropriately mating the sets of connectors.

A horseshoe shaped personal flotation device is buoyant and can be used in a number or positions to float a person on the water and retain a beverage. The horseshoe shaped flotation device has a left and right armrest that extend out from an arced shaped closed end and dual cup holder, on the extended end of the armrest, has an cup cylinder to retain a beverage in the vertical orientation and an end cup holder to retain a beverage in an orthogonal orientation to the cup cylinder. The flotation device can be used in an underarm-floating configuration and a beverage can be retained in the cup cylinder, or used in a saddle, hammock or back floating configuration with a beverage retained in the end cup holder. The flotation device can be extended to spread the left and right armrest apart for some flotation methods.

Collapsible flotation device

A collapsible flotation device is provided that uses a coilable spring coupled to a panel to collapse the device when the spring is coiled, and to expand the device when the spring is uncoiled configuration. The spring can be contained within a sleeve along the outer portion of the panel. A support member that traverses the panel is provided. An inflatable bladder disposed about a part of the outer portion of the panel and coupled to the support member buoyantly supports a body weight of a user. The combination of the inflatable bladder and the support member provide support for a user in a seated position on the panel. Many configurations are disclosed, including a multi-user collapsible flotation device, multiple connected single-user flotation devices, and so forth. A back support member and a headrest, both of which can be inflatable, provide additional support for a user to maintain a seated position on the panel. A foot support member is provided for the comfort of the user.
