This application relates to inflatable flotation devices that support an infant, and having first, second and third inflatable members. The first member has an outer and an inner perimeter and a first and second diameters at first and second end portions. The second member is at least partially within the inner perimeter of the first member. At least a portion of the upper surface of the second member is recessed with respect to an upper surface of the first member. The third member has an inner perimeter disposed about at least a portion of the outer perimeter of the first member. The third member has a maximum height, when inflated, that is less than the maximum height of the first member, at least a portion of the inner perimeter of the third member being spaced apart from the outer perimeter of the first member.

A floating assembly for suspending a person on water has a foldable frame member that has a folded and an unfolded orientation, the frame member defining a periphery for the assembly. A sheet material covers portions of the frame member when the frame member is in the unfolded orientation. A plurality of floatation sleeves are attached to the periphery. A plurality of floatation devices are removably inserted into each of the floatation sleeves.

The personal flotation device is adapted for use with a person and a pet. The personal floatation device is configured for use with water. The personal flotation device provides buoyancy during water based activities. The personal flotation device is a multipurpose device that: 1) forms a seat; 2) forms a raft; and, 3) forms a plurality of flotation devices. The plurality of flotation devices are suitable for use by the person and the pet. The personal flotation device comprises a pet pad, a float, an insulated storage case, a dry storage container, and a plurality of straps. The plurality of flotation devices comprises the pet pad and the float. The plurality of straps interconnect the pet pad, the float, the insulated storage case, and the dry storage container to form the seat and the raft portions of the personal flotation device.

An adjustable and removable canopy may be affixed to a chair, lounge, recliner, or the like. The canopy comprises two flexible, aligned rods having a fabric panel extending between them. The rods attached to the lounge or chair so as to form an arc across and over the user of the lounge or chair. Adjustment straps extend from the rods to the lounge or chair. A plurality of connectors located on the adjustment straps allow the shortening or lengthening of the straps so that the position of the canopy relative to the user may be selectively adjusted.

Methods and compositions are provided where a transfected cell that produces a hybrid protein with a reporter-containing portion and a botulinum toxin cleavage site is contacted with a botulinum toxin in media having a reduced sodium concentration, thereby increasing the sensitivity. Such media can also be used in combination with elevated cell culture temperatures. Kits that include such media and a botulinum toxin are also described.
