Compositions corresponding to marine diesel fuels, fuel oils, jet fuels, and/or blending components thereof are provided that include at least a portion of a natural gas condensate fraction. Natural gas condensate fractions derived from a natural gas condensate with sufficiently low API gravity can provide a source of low sulfur, low pour point blend stock for formation of marine diesel and/or fuel oil fractions. Natural gas condensate fractions can provide these advantages and/or other advantages without requiring prior hydroprocessing and/or cracking.

A method for preparing a briquette binder using a landfill leachate and a method for producing an industrial briquette using the briquette binder. The landfill leachate is modified by sulfonation and amination, and is mixed with the modified rice straws to prepare the briquette binder, so as to effectively use the products generated in garbage processing to realize secondary economic benefits in garbage processing. The industrial briquette is produced by the prepared briquette binder, and the industrial briquette is used as steam coal or metallurgical coal with large briquette consumption, so as to promote the resource utilization of the landfill leachate, reduce the cost in preparation of the briquette binder and enhance benefits.
Process and system for recovering natural gas liquids (NGL) from flare gas using Joule-Thomson (J-T) cooling and membrane separation
A process and system for recovering natural gas liquids (NGL) using a combination of J-T cooling and membrane separation. The process involves compressing, separating, and cooling a flare gas stream comprising at least methane and C.sub.3+ hydrocarbons prior to being introduced to a J-T valve. The cooled stream exiting the J-T valve is further separated, producing a NGL product stream and an uncondensed gas stream. The uncondensed gas stream is directed to a membrane separation step, which results in a C.sub.3+ hydrocarbon enriched stream and a C.sub.3+ hydrocarbon depleted stream. The C.sub.3+ hydrocarbon enriched stream may be recycled back to the process to recover more NGL.

Fuel composition, ship, and automatic fuel composition-switching system
Provided is a fuel composition prepared by adding gas-to-liquid oil and water to light cycle oil to conduct emulsification. The fuel composition is used as a fuel for a diesel engine (12) in a ship (10). The ship (10) includes a fresh water tank (15), an LCO tank (13), and a GTL tank (14) configured to store water, light cycle oil, and gas-to-liquid oil, respectively, and a mixer (16) configured to mix the water, the light cycle oil, and the gas-to-liquid oil fed from the respective tanks to produce the fuel composition.

Low sulfur fuel oil blend compositions and methods of making such blend compositions to increase the stability and compatibility of LSFO blends having paraffinic resids that are blended with distillates and/or cracked stocks of higher asphaltenes and/or aromatics content. In one or more embodiments, distillates and/or cracked stocks that incrementally reduce the initial aromaticity of the distillate or cracked stock with the highest aromaticity are sequentially blended prior to resid addition. Such incremental reduction and sequential blending have been found to provide a resulting low sulfur fuel oil blend that is both compatible and stable.
