READY-TO-ASSEMBLE CHAIR
The assembly chair includes a pair of frames, a plurality of coupling rods, a plurality of pairs of depressed portions, at least one support member, and a sheet. The sheet is removably installed between the support member and the coupling rod. At least at one end portion of the sheet, the sheet includes a plurality of inserted portions along a width direction of the sheet. A flat plate is passed through at least one of the inserted portions. The support member with a flat intermediate portion is passed through another one of the inserted portions. The sheet is wound around outer peripheries of the inserted portion through which the plate is passed and the inserted portion through which the support member is passed to adjust a length of the sheet. In such state, the support member has both end portions fitted to the depressed portions on the frames.
Foot platform and desk comprising a foot platform
A foot support platform has a foot rest plate mounted pivotably on a housing of the foot platform. The lower face of the foot rest plate is supported by a spring. A mechanical detent device locks the foot rest plate in a pivot position. The foot platform is further provided with a remote-controlled mechanical locking device for engagement with the mechanical detent device. There is also described a desk having a foot platform.
APPARATUS FOR ASSISTING TOILETING
An apparatus for assisting a person in assumption of a squat position for evacuations when using a toilet, the apparatus including a platform adapted to raise a user's feet from the ground surface, and at least one foot member, each having an opening therein to at least partially receive a portion of the toilet or bowl, and at least one height adjustment assembly to adjust the height of the platform above the at least one foot member, the height adjustment assembly including an upper leg mounted to the platform, a lower leg mounted to the at least one foot member for slidable movement relative thereto, a resilient separator to bias the platform and the at least one foot apart, and a locking mechanism to at least temporarily lock the upper leg relative to the lower leg to fix the height of the platform.
Adjustable toilet footrest and method of use
The present disclosure is directed to adjustable toilet footrests while using a toilet. In one embodiment, an adjustable toilet footrest comprises a foot platform having at least two telescopic legs extending therefrom, wherein the telescopic legs have a locking mechanism that allows for the height of the platform to be selectively adjusted to a user's desire.
User-Identifying Adjustable Smart Footstool
A user-identifying adjustable footstool that is capable of identifying individual users and automatically adjusting based on user-identification. The footstool can save preferences for different users, such as specific heights or angles. These preferences are called when a user is successfully identified by the footstool. The user-identifying adjustable footstool is particularly useful in conjunction with a toilet, to allow users to achieve individualized squatting positions while using traditional western toilets.
FOOT REST STAND
A furniture item for suspending a user's feet comprises a suspended foot rest. The foot rest comprises a first attachment portion at a first end of the suspended foot rest and a second attachment portion at a physically opposite second end of the suspended foot rest. The first attachment portion comprises a first structural attachment member that is attached to a first pillar. The second attachment portion comprises a second structural attachment member that is attached to a second pillar. The first pillar extends upward to a first elevated portion that extends above a floor. The first elevated portion is attached to the first structural attachment. The second pillar extends upward to a second elevated portion that extends above the floor. The second elevated portion is attached to the second structural attachment. The suspended foot rest is suspended between the first pillar and the second pillar.
Ergonomic-device support assembly for ergonomic device
An apparatus has an ergonomic-device support assembly including a stationary frame assembly configured to be received and selectively positioned underneath a desk relative to a user. The ergonomic-device support assembly is configured to receive and support an ergonomic device. This is done in such a way that the ergonomic device is selectively movable relative to the user of the desk between an extended-deployment position and a retracted-storage position.
Electric height adjustable desk with synchronous moving mechanical footrest
An electric height adjustable desk with synchronous moving footrest, method of use, and a rotatable footrest assembly. The desk comprises: a desktop; two electric height adjustable desk leg members; two horizontal base members; and a rotatable footrest assembly. The rotatable footrest assembly comprises: two footrest frame members; two pivot spring connection units; and a rotatable footrest unit comprising a U-shaped foot bar member connected on each end to a pivot spring connection unit. Each spring connection unit comprises: a gas spring; a tension member; and both are connected to a pivot plate member. The tension member and the gas spring work together to rotate the footrest unit to a horizontal position while the desktop rises, and to a vertical position while the desktop is lowered. The tension member may further comprise an extension member to delay rotating the footrest unit until the desktop has reached a selected height.
Lower leg elevation and support device
A lower leg elevation and support device for elevating and supporting a lower leg includes a lift and a plurality of wedges. The lift and each wedge having a thick end, a thin end, a bottom, a top, and a pair of opposing sides. The tops, the bottoms and the thick ends are substantially rectangular. The opposing sides are triangular, such that the lift and the wedges are cuneal. A slot extends from the thick end of the lift to proximate to the thin end of the lift, defining an upper section and a lower section of the lift. Each wedge is insertable into the slot, elevating the upper section of the lift relative to the lower section of the lift. A plurality of fasteners is configured to secure the lift to a leg of a user.
