Method for processing a biomass

A method to convert carbonaceous materials, particularly biomass and those biomass resources which are remotely located, into a high performance solid fuel. This method, and the apparatus described as the means to accomplish this method, provides a continuous process which can be completely powered by the energy contained in the biomass. The heat, mechanical power and electrical power are provided from the energy in the biomass, through the methods described. In this way, the apparatus is free to operate in remote locations, where no power or auxiliary fuel sources are available.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING, MONITORING, AND OPERATING REMOTE OIL AND GAS FIELD EQUIPMENT OVER A DATA NETWORK WITH APPLICATIONS TO RAW NATURAL GAS PROCESSING AND FLARE GAS CAPTURE

An intelligent controls system for remotely monitoring and controlling a chemical process is disclosed. The system comprises a piece of remote field equipment for performing the chemical process, a user device, a server, and program codes to perform the steps of establishing an equipment-server and a client-server connection, receiving a set of chemical process input parameters and a set of desired chemical process output parameters, controlling a set of chemical process control parameters to achieve the desired chemical process output parameters, and providing an interface to allow an operator to manually control and/or manually override the set of chemical process control parameters. The controls system allows any piece of remote field equipment for performing complex chemical processing to be monitored, controlled, and operated remotely. A large array of distributed field equipment situated around the world can all be controlled primarily through a single interface provided in a central control center.

NATURAL GAS APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IN-SITU PROCESSING

A natural gas processing system is mounted on a mobile platform that is transported to a natural gas source, such as a well. A liquid removal tank separates liquid contaminants from the gas. A particulate filter removes particulates from the gas. A membrane separates the natural gas into a retentate gas and a permeate gas. A gas compressor, powered by the natural gas, is selectively connected either upstream of the membrane or downstream of the membrane. For low pressure source gas, the upstream connection will compress the natural gas before entering the membrane. For high pressure source gas, the downstream connection will compress the natural gas after exiting the membrane. An electrical generator and an air compressor are provided. A process control is connected to all the valves in the system, all instruments, the gas compressor, the electrical generator, and the air compressor. The process control monitors and controls the natural gas processing system.

The control module is configured to monitor one or more operating parameters and execute one or more operating modes. The operating modes include a bypass mode configured to provide the engine with the hydrocarbon fuel, an emulsification recirculation mode configured to continually recirculate emulsified fuel through the emulsification device and the processed fuel tank via the emulsification recirculation line, a run mode configured to operate the engine with emulsified fuel, and a suck back mode configured to return semi-stable emulsified fuel back to the processed fuel tank.

GAS EMISSIONS ABATEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REPURPOSING OF GAS STREAMS

Systems and methods are provided for utilization in gas recovery conversion to truncate greenhouse emissions that result from gas flaring and venting in production operations. The disclosed stimulates responsible production versus unremitting flaring or venting that further burgeon emissions intensity. Industry lacks incentives and alternatives where common practice is to flare, vent to facilitate oil production. Flaring, venting augment methane emissions contrary to regulations. Seeking compliance but counter to national interests, producers can opt to shut-in or defer production. The systems and methods herein achieve exemplary processing, conditioning, compression, and storage of repurposed value-added gas streams to abate methane and other emissions intensity. The systems, methods and sequencing result in portable, scalable, autonomously operable well site configuration that repurposes surfacing gas volumes, and revalues reserves that would have otherwise been flared, vented, or abandoned. Abatement of methane and greenhouse gas emissions and their deleterious effects embedded in current hydrocarbons production.
