GREASE COMPOSITION AND ROLLING BEARING
A grease composition includes base oil, a thickener, and an organic modified polysiloxane. The base oil is an alkyl diphenyl ether. The thickener is a urea thickener, and the grease composition contains 10 to 30 mass % of the thickener based on the total amount of the base oil and the thickener. The grease composition contains 0.2 to 10 mass % of the organic modified polysiloxane based on the total amount of the base oil and the thickener.

The present invention provides a lubricant composition comprising a base oil of lubricating viscosity, wherein the base oil comprises an ether base stock of formula (A), where: R.sub.a and R.sub.b are aliphatic hydrocarbyl groups and may be the same or different; the lubricant composition further comprising at least one aminic anti-oxidant and at least one phenolic anti-oxidant. In some embodiments, the ether base stock has the formula (1), where: R.sub.1 R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are as defined herein. The lubricant composition may be used for lubricating a surface in an internal combustion engine as well as for improving the fuel economy performance and/or piston cleanliness performance of an engine and/or a vehicle, such as an automotive vehicle associated with an internal combustion engine.

DEVELOPMENT OF ANTI-BIT BALLING FLUIDS
Anti-bit balling drilling fluids and methods of making and using drilling fluids are provided. The anti-bit balling drilling fluid contains water, a clay-based component, and at least one of a surfactant having the formula: R(OC.sub.2H.sub.4).sub.xOH, where R is a hydrocarbyl group having from 10 to 20 carbon atoms and x is an integer from 1 and 10, or a polyethylene glycol having the formula: H(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.nOH, where n is an integer from 1 to 50. Methods of making and using these drilling fluids are also provided.
DEVELOPMENT OF ANTI-BIT BALLING FLUIDS
Anti-bit balling drilling fluids and methods of making and using drilling fluids are provided. The anti-bit balling drilling fluid contains water, a clay-based component, and at least one of a surfactant having the formula: R(OC.sub.2H.sub.4).sub.xOH, where R is a hydrocarbyl group having from 10 to 20 carbon atoms and x is an integer from 1 and 10, or a polyethylene glycol having the formula: H(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.nOH, where n is an integer from 1 to 50. Methods of making and using these drilling fluids are also provided.
Grease composition and grease-sealed roller bearing
Provided is a grease composition which can be used as a lubricant for roller bearings, exhibits excellent high temperature durability and rust preventive property, and can prevent premature flaking on the rolling surface due to hydrogen embrittlement. A roller bearing 1 is obtained by sealing a grease composition 7 in the periphery of a rolling element 4, this grease composition 7 is composed of a base oil excluding an ester-based synthetic oil, a thickener, and an additive, the additive contains (a) an alkanolamine and (b) 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline or a polymer thereof but does not contain an organic sulfonate, and (a) and (b) are contained at from 0.1 to 10 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of a total amount of the base oil and the thickener, respectively.

Provided is a grease composition which can be used as a lubricant for roller bearings, exhibits excellent high temperature durability and rust preventive property, and can prevent premature flaking on the rolling surface due to hydrogen embrittlement. EMULSIFIER COMPOSITIONS FOR INVERT EMULSION FLUIDS AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
Drilling fluid compositions include invert emulsion fluids having an oleaginous phase, an aqueous phase, and an emulsifier composition that includes an ethoxylated alcohol compound and a polyaminated fatty acid compound. The ethoxylated alcohol compound has the formula R.sup.1(OCH.sub.2CH.sub.2).sub.nOH, where R.sup.1 is a hydrocarbyl group having from 8 to 22 carbon atoms and n is from 1 to 8. The ethoxylated alcohol compound has a Hydrophilic-Lipophilic Balance (HLB) of less than or equal to 6. The polyaminated fatty acid compound has the formula R.sup.2CONHCH.sub.2CH.sub.2N(COR.sup.2)CH.sub.2CH.sub.2NHCOR.sup.3, where R.sup.2 is a hydrocarbyl group having from 1 to 20 carbon atoms and R.sup.3 is a hydrocarbyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or an alkylene carboxylate group having formula R.sup.4COOH, where R.sup.4 is a saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbylene having from 1 to 10 carbon atoms. Methods of drilling wells include operating a drill in a wellbore in the presence of drilling fluid compositions.
