The seat cushion arrangement may be supported by the platform in a second operative state in which a substantial portion of an upper surface of the seat cushion arrangement is in parallel with the horizontal plane for establishing an elongated lying area for at least one user, wherein the lying area has a direction between a head end and a foot end in parallel with a longitudinal direction of the platform.

The sofa includes a sofa base and a lift assembly.
