A medical lubricant may comprise a base oil. The medical lubricant can be used on a surgical device.
Lubricating grease composition
A lubricating grease composition containing a base oil having a kinematic viscosity of 10 mm.sup.2/s or more and 60 mm.sup.2/s or less at 40° C.; a thickener containing at least one soap selected from a metal soap and a metal complex soap; and a solid lubricant containing porous polyamide particles. An amount of the porous polyamide particles blended is 1% by mass or more and 20% by mass or less based on a total mass of the lubricating grease composition.
Lubricating grease composition
A lubricating grease composition containing a base oil having a kinematic viscosity of 10 mm.sup.2/s or more and 60 mm.sup.2/s or less at 40° C.; a thickener containing at least one soap selected from a metal soap and a metal complex soap; and a solid lubricant containing porous polyamide particles. Gear lubricant composition
The present application relates to a gear lubricant composition comprising: 97 to 99.9 wt.-% trimethylolpropane triester; and 0.1 to 3 wt.-% at least one additive selected from among anti-wear additives, extreme pressure additives, antioxidants, anti-corrosion additives, metal deactivator additives, antifoams, and mixtures thereof.
Gear lubricant composition
The present application relates to a gear lubricant composition comprising: 97 to 99.9 wt.-% trimethylolpropane triester; and 0.1 to 3 wt.-% at least one additive selected from among anti-wear additives, extreme pressure additives, antioxidants, anti-corrosion additives, metal deactivator additives, antifoams, and mixtures thereof.
Grease compositions and method for making the same
A grease composition contains a mixture of a lubricating base oil, an ester-terminated polyamide and at least one polyolefin. The ester-terminated polyamide has the formula:
R1-O—CO—R2-CO—[NH—R3-NH—CO—R2-CO]n-O—R1.
R1 contains 4-22 carbon atoms, R2 contains 4-42 carbon atoms, R3 contains 2-9 carbon atoms and n is an integer in the range of 1-20. The grease composition can be used for lubricating a mechanical component having a metal surface and/or for protecting a mechanical component having a metal surface against corrosion, wear and/or fretting.
Grease compositions and method for making the same
A grease composition contains a mixture of a lubricating base oil, an ester-terminated polyamide and at least one polyolefin. The ester-terminated polyamide has the formula:
R1-O—CO—R2-CO—[NH—R3-NH—CO—R2-CO]n-O—R1.
R1 contains 4-22 carbon atoms, R2 contains 4-42 carbon atoms, R3 contains 2-9 carbon atoms and n is an integer in the range of 1-20. The grease composition can be used for lubricating a mechanical component having a metal surface and/or for protecting a mechanical component having a metal surface against corrosion, wear and/or fretting.
Lubricating oil composition for automatic transmissions
The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition for automatic transmissions which comprises: 55 to 85 mass % of a Fischer-Tropsch synthetic oil with a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 2 to 4 mm2/s as a low-viscosity base oil; 1 to 10 mass % of an olefin copolymer 5 with a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 150 to 1,000 mm2/s as a high-viscosity base oil; and a polymethacrylate with a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000. This lubricating oil composition is such that the viscosity index of the composition is not 10 less than 190, the Brookfield viscosity is not more than 6,000 mPa.Math.s at low temperature (−40° C.), the kinematic viscosity at 100° C. is 6 to 7 mm2/s, and the rate of reduction of the kinematic viscosity after a KRL shear stability test (60° C., 20 hr) is kept to within not more 15 than 3%.
Lubricating oil composition for automatic transmissions
The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition for automatic transmissions which comprises: 55 to 85 mass % of a Fischer-Tropsch synthetic oil with a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 2 to 4 mm2/s as a low-viscosity base oil; 1 to 10 mass % of an olefin copolymer 5 with a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 150 to 1,000 mm2/s as a high-viscosity base oil; and a polymethacrylate with a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000 to 50,000. This lubricating oil composition is such that the viscosity index of the composition is not 10 less than 190, the Brookfield viscosity is not more than 6,000 mPa.Math.s at low temperature (−40° C.), the kinematic viscosity at 100° C. is 6 to 7 mm2/s, and the rate of reduction of the kinematic viscosity after a KRL shear stability test (60° C., 20 hr) is kept to within not more 15 than 3%.
Lubricant composition
Disclosed is a lubricating oil composition containing a base oil, a viscosity index improver, a molybdenum-based friction modifier, a boron-containing dispersant, and at least two extreme-pressure additives selected from a sulfur-based extreme-pressure additive, a phosphorous-based extreme-pressure additive and a sulfur/phosphorus-based extreme-pressure additive, or a sulfur/phosphorus-based extreme-pressure additive. The base oil is a synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 3 mm.sup.2/s or more and 10 mm.sup.2/s or less, the viscosity index improver is a resin having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 1,000 or more and 10,000 or less, the mass ratio of boron atoms (B) contained in the boron-containing dispersant to molybdenum atoms (Mo) contained in the molybdenum-based friction modifier, [(B)/(Mo)] is 1 or more and 5 or less, and the mass ratio of sulfur atoms (S) to phosphorus atoms (P) contained in the extreme-pressure additive(s), [(S)/(P)] is 10 or more and 20 or less.
