LUBRICANT REGULATING AGENT
The present invention makes the insertion perception during actual surgery to be equivalent to the insertion perception of a catheter into a blood vessel model when water is used as the circulating fluid. A lubricant regulating fluid primarily composed of water is mixed with an aqueous metal salt and a surfactant as a lubricant regulating agent of the lubricant regulating fluid. A cationic surfactant, an anionic surfactant, a nonionic surfactant, or a dipolar ionic surfactant may be used as the surfactant. Also, the metal salt may be an alkaline metal salt, an alkaline earth metal salt, an aluminum salt, a ferric salt, or the like. In an example, the lubricant regulating fluid obtained by mixing an aqueous metal salt with water is prepared, and the lubrication and non-adherent properties of a catheter into a simulated blood vessel model are improved.

The object of the invention is a traction sheave elevator and a rope that contains metal as a load-bearing material, such as the suspension rope of an elevator, which rope comprises at least one or more strands laid from metal wires and which rope is lubricated with a lubricant. Another object is the use of the aforementioned lubricant for lubricating the rope. The lubricant comprises at least oil and thickener, which thickener in the lubricant comprises at least 10% or more of the mass of the lubricant.

Lubricant Composition and Methods of Manufacture
A lubricant made by a method of modifying fluid suspended metal sulfide particles that does not require use of hazardous additives. The base oil is derived from a proprietary ester lubricant. The formulation process includes a centrifugation step to remove non-colloidal metal sulfide particles. These non-colloidal particles may be collected and turned into colloidal particles for use in future batches of lubricant.

A composition of an oil-soluble ionic detergent that does not contribute metal ions to the composition, and which comprises a quaternary non-metallic pnictogen cation and an organic anion having at least one hydrocarbyl group of sufficient length to impart oil solubility to the detergent, the detergent having a total base number (TBN) to total acid number (TAN) ratio of at least 2:1 imparts ash-free basicity to a lubricant composition.

The invention relates to a PTFE polymer-based sliding material having fillers which improve the tribological properties, wherein the fillers comprise at least one phosphate, in particular calcium phosphate, calcium pyrophosphate, magnesium phosphate, magnesium pyrophosphate, lithium phosphate, hydroxyapatite or combinations thereof, and at least one metal sulfide, wherein the fraction of the metal sulfide is >2% by volume. The functional fluids or EV fluids provide surprising and unexpected fatigue properties.
