LUBRICANT COMPOSITION
20180100112 · 2018-04-12 ·

A lubricant composition improves a performance of reducing a formation of compressor deposit. The lubricant composition also ensures low temperature properties of the lubricant composition. The lubricant composition includes 14 mass % or more of a fraction having a boiling point of 500 C. to 550 C. and 5 mass % or more of a fraction having a boiling point of over 550 C.

Use of amines and/or Mannich adducts in fuel and lubricant compositions for direct-injection spark ignition engines

The present invention relates to the use of amines and/or Mannich adducts as detergents and/or dispersants in fuel and lubricant compositions for direct-injection gasoline engines. The invention further relates to fuel and lubricant compositions which comprise at least one such Mannich adduct, and also a bisaminoalkylated Mannich adduct.

Universal synthetic water displacement multi-purpose penetrating lubricant, method and product-by-process

A universal synthetic water displacement multi-purpose penetrating lubricant product-by-process with the capacity to protect metal surfaces against corrosion, with galvanic and electrolysis protection, while providing excellent lubrication properties. The lubricant actively penetrates the crystalline surface of the metal while exhibiting extreme pressure lubrication, non-migrating with lasting protection. The lubricant exhibits dielectric strength of over 14,000 volts, at the same time cleaning electrical contacts while reducing resistance and associated heat. A preferred embodiment comprises polymerized alpha-olefins, K-1 kerosene, and at least one base oil selected from the base oil group consisting of hydroisomerized high base oils and HT severe hydro-cracked base oils. Various combinations of other optional ingredients are also disclosed.

Motor Oil Blend and Method for Reducing Wear on Steel and Eliminating ZDDP in Motor Oils by Modifying the Plastic Response of Steel
20180087000 · 2018-03-29 ·

An environmentally-improved motor oil blend and related methods for properly lubricating components of an engine and favorably modifying a plastic response of components of the engine, the blend being free of zinc di-alkyl-di-thiophosphates (ZDDP) and free of zinc di-thiophosphate (ZDTP), comprising: a motor oil selected from the motor oil group consisting of Group I, Group II, Group III, Group IV, and Group V motor oils; a motor oil additive comprising alpha-olefins and hydroisomerized hydro-treated severe hydrocracked base oil; ZDDP omitted from the chemical constituents of the motor oil; and ZDTP omitted from the chemical constituents of the motor oil.

GREASE COMPOSITION

A grease composition comprises a base oil and an aluminium complex soap thickener, with graphite, molybdenum di-sulphide, calcium carbonate and bismuth sulphide all included as additives. The composition exhibits advantageous load, wear and friction performance, especially in extreme pressure environments, and is particularly suitable for use on open gears.

Refractory binder system

A refractory formulation containing an anhydrous solvent, an oleophilic rheology modifier and a refractory aggregate exhibits non-thermoplastic behavior, and remains plastic and formable at temperatures in the range of 10 degrees Celsius to 180 degrees Celsius. The oleophilic rheology modifier may effectively bind with the solvent to create a gel-like structure with organic solvents with moderate to high polarity. A phyllosilicate clay that has been treated with a quaternary fatty acid amine may be used as the oleophilic rheology modifier.

Lubricating compositions
12195689 · 2025-01-14 · ·

A liquid composition for providing enhanced lubrication and wear protection, particularly under high-performance and/or extreme-pressure conditions. The composition comprises components that are either solubilized, liquified, or sub-micronized, and are formulated to result in a stable, color-tunable composition that can be stored or implemented over extended periods of time without separation of solid components from the liquid. A composition can either be a lubricant in which the solubilized, liquified, or sub-micronized components are comprised within a base oil, or an additive composition in which the components are formulated to be later added to a base oil. Suitable base oils are industrial, automotive, or open gear oils such as those used in the oil and gas industry, sugar mills, or in rock crushers; rock drill, pneumatic, and air tool oils; anti-seize compounds; cutting, gun, engine, air compressor, or bearing oils; slideway lubricants; and oven, kiln, foundry, metalworking, metalforming, or aerospace lubricants.
