A solid lubricant composition comprising a wax carrier and agglomerates of PTFE micropowder dispersed throughout the wax carrier is disclosed. In some embodiments, the solid lubricant composition is applied to an interior surface of a cylindrical plain bearing. In other embodiments, a polymer sliding layer having a plurality of indentations formed therein is applied to the interior surface of a metal shell, and the solid lubricant composition described herein is disposed in the indentations, to thereby form a cylindrical plain bearing having a sliding layer of both the polymer material and the solid lubricant composition.

This invention provides a threaded connection for pipe or tube that has a non-sticky surface and that suppresses the occurrence of rust and exhibits excellent galling resistance and airtightness even in an extremely low temperature environment without using compound grease, a method of producing the same, and a composition for forming a solid lubricating coating on the threaded connection. A solid lubricating coating (24) formed from a composition containing a binder, a fluorine addition agent, a solid lubricant and a rust proof addition agent is coated as a topmost surface treatment coating on a contact surface of at least one of a pin and a box. Even when exposed to an extremely low temperature environment, the solid lubricating coating (24) can maintain adhesiveness and exhibit a lubricating function, can suppress the occurrence of galling of a threaded connection, and can also secure airtightness after fastening.
Compositions and use thereof for metal shaping
The present invention provides metal shaping compositions and processes for using same for shaping metal substrates. Specifically, the metal shaping composition discussed herein are environmentally-friendly, water-containing composition which provide excellent lubricity under metal shaping process conditions while also providing excellent rust protection. The metal shaping compositions discussed herein contain (i) a film-forming lubricant capable of being solubilized into water in dispersible or emulsifiable form and which softens at a temperature of about 80 to about 200 C.; (ii) a film forming polymeric binder capable of being solubilized into water in dispersible or emulsifiable form; (iii) a solid lubricant capable of being solubilized into water in dispersible or emulsifiable form; and (iv) a corrosion inhibitor.

The present disclosure is directed to providing a resin composition that is excellent in shape retentionability and production stability, reduces die drool, and improves maintenance and management of production machines, and a cleaning method of a resin molding processing machine using the resin composition. The resin composition of the present disclosure contains at least (A) a polyethylene-based resin having a melting point of 121 to 140? C. and (B) an inorganic foaming agent. The mass ratio of the (A) component is 50 to 84 parts by mass and the mass ratio of the (B) component is 50 to 16 parts by mass when the total mass of the (A) component and the (B) component is taken as 100 parts by mass. The weight loss ratio measured using a TGA apparatus when heated from 25? C. to 200? C. under an inert gas atmosphere is 3.0 to 15 mass %.
