BI-FOLD FURNITURE
A folding furnishing apparatus includes first members that support at least one flexible panel in a set-up configuration; second members that support the plurality of first members; first joints that connect the plurality of first members and that in the set-up configuration define mutually skewed axes about which the furnishing cannot be folded, thus locking the first members in extended positions; and second joints that connect the second members to the first members. The second joints in the set-up configuration define mutually parallel axes about which the second members can be folded to a mutually nested configuration. The first joints in the mutually nested configuration then define mutually parallel axes about which the first members can be folded to a collapsed configuration.
COT AND CORNER CONNECTOR THEREFOR
A corner connector supports frame members that are securable to side margins of a support sheet to form a cot. The corner connector can be assembled from two parts, a base member and a cap. The base member can be configured to receive end portions of the frame members in an open-top channel. This can allow a subassembly of the support sheet and the frame members to be lowered into the corner connector base members when forming the cot. The base member and cap can include opposing portions configured to capture corner portions of the support sheet between them. The corner connector can include a shield member recess adjacent to a frame member recess to mount a shield member to extend alongside a frame member installed in the corner connector.
Bed or hammock
The present invention relates to a bed or hammock which comprises four support legs delimiting two longitudinal sides between them, each one of which has longitudinal bars, and two transverse sides which are shorter in length than, and perpendicular to, the previously mentioned sides, a surface element made up of a fabric, mesh, canvas or similar material arranged between the support legs, wherein the legs are made up of a body which comprises lateral faces perpendicular to the side they delimit, respectively, outer faces parallel to the side they delimit, respectively, and an upper face, wherein each longitudinal and transverse bar is fastened to a pair of legs, respectively, by fastening means, and wherein the invention comprises a fastening and/or tensioning device for the surface element on at least one of the longitudinal sides and/or transverse sides.
A COLLAPSIBLE BED BASE
A collapsible bed base includes a plurality of elongate frame members (10) and a plurality of frame supporting members (12) each comprising a foot portion (16) for resting on a floor and at least two openings (18) sized to receive an end of one of the elongate members (10) therein. The frame supporting members (12) together hold frame members (10) parallel to the floor to thereby form an assembled frame for the bed base. A plurality of mattress supporting members (14) each have a flat upper surface (20) for receiving a mattress thereon. A plurality of frame engaging formations (22) enable the mattress supporting members (14) to be held securely in a horizontal position by the assembled frame thereby to receive a mattress on top of the mattress supporting members (14).
Platform System for Vehicle Interior
At least one embodiment of the inventive technology may be a disassemblable platform system in a pickup truck cab, or other vehicle, such as, but not limited to, a SUV or van that (after installation), comprises: a plurality of panels (generally, 40, as installed) relatively positioned to form a flat, raised rigid platform 41 in a pickup truck cab and that is elevated above lower seat cushions, where such panels include two rear panels 1,2 (i.e., in the rear seat area), a driver area panel 3, a passenger area panel 6, and a console area panel 42 between said driver area panel and said passenger area panel. The system further includes horizontal supports 43 that underlie at least some of said panels, such horizontal supports including at least two right-left horizontal support bars 44 (i.e., a horizontal support bar that is installed in a right-left direction defined by the vehicle); and panel-attached horizontal supports 45, each of which is attached to a panel to which it is dedicated.
Folding bed
A folding bed is provided, which includes a bed sheet, a first lateral supporting rod connected to a first edge of the bed sheet and a second side supporting rod connected to a second edge of the bed sheet. The folding bed further includes a first L-shaped supporting rod having a first end articulated to the first side supporting rod, a second L-shaped support rod having a first end articulated to the second side supporting rod, a gear connected to a second end of the first L-shaped supporting rod, and a gear locking member connected to a second end of the second L-shaped supporting rod. The gear locking member is provided with teeth which are rotatable in only one direction with respect to teeth of the gear. The folding bed is has a small size after being folded, is convenient to assemble and is easy to fold.
Collapsible all-terrain cot or tent apparatus
The present invention is directed to a lightweight, packable, all-terrain cot, tent or other apparatus that is designed to fit a multitude of configurations for use in different terrain situations. The apparatus is uniquely supported by a series of arch rods, tail and head bars, and sets of cables, that provide support for weight placed on the apparatus in a variety of environments regardless of whether the setting for said apparatus is a flat surface.
PORTABLE BED WITH ATTACHABLE TENT
A system is also presented, comprising a portable bed and an attachable tent. The portable bed may include a mat for insulating a user from the ground. The bed may also include a pillow portion coupled to the mat. Additionally, the bed may include attachable bedding coupled to the mat, the attached bedding being attachable to the mat by an attachment mechanism. Also, the bed may include a first attachment point coupled to the mat, the first attachment point. In an embodiment, the attachable tent may include a cover comprising a layer of material configured to define a sleeping space. The tent may include a support structure configured to support the cover. Also, the tent may include a second attachment point configured to attach the attachable tent to the portable bed by engaging with the first attachment point.
