WATER-CONTAINING LUBRICATING FILM AGENT, SURFACE TREATED METALLIC MATERIAL, AND METHOD FOR FORMING WATER-CONTAINING LUBRICATING FILM OF METALLIC MATERIAL
A water-containing lubricant coating agent, used in metal plastic working, includes a water content of 3 to 50 mass %, at least one lipophilic lubricating component (A) and/or at least one solid lubricant (B) with cleavability dispersed in water, and at least one water-soluble lubricating component (C) selected from fatty acid components having 12 to 20 carbon atoms; wherein a mass ratio of (C)/[(A)+(B)]=0.05 to 0.5.
Lubricant composition, and preparation method and use thereof
The present invention relates to the field of lubricant, and specifically provides a lubricant composition and its preparation method and use. The lubricant composition comprises a base oil and rubber particles having radiation crosslinked structure dispersed therein, wherein the base oil is continuous phase and the rubber particles are dispersed phase. The viscosity of the lubricant composition of the present invention can be effectively adjusted as temperature changes. As compared with the lubricant composition comprising chemically crosslinked rubber particles, it has a lower viscosity at low temperatures and a higher viscosity at high temperatures, and has a relatively high viscosity index, which can meet the application requirements at the temperature above 200? C. In addition, the lubricant composition of the present invention also has excellent antiwear and friction-reducing properties.
Coated fabric products
This relates to the coating of air bags, which are used for safety purposes to protect occupants of vehicles such as automobiles, and of air bag fabrics intended to be made into air bags. In particular the invention relates to the top coating of air bags and air bag fabrics which have been pre-coated with a cured organic resin coating composition. The top-coat is an anti-blocking coating composition comprising at least one solid lubricant dispersed in an organic polymer binder. A process for applying the top-coat is also described.
ELECTRO-RHEOLOGICAL FLUID AND CYLINDER DEVICE USING SAME
Provided is an electro-rheological fluid, including: a fluid having an insulating property; and a polyether-based polyurethane particle containing a metal ion, wherein the polyurethane particle contains a chain extender, wherein the metal ion includes at least a Li ion, and wherein a ratio ([Li]/[O]) of a molar concentration ([Li]) of the Li ion to a molar concentration ([O]) of oxygen atoms of ether groups in the polyurethane particles satisfies the following condition: [Ratio of molar concentration ([Li]) of Li ion to molar concentration ([O]) of oxygen of ether groups] [Li]/[O]9.010.sup.5.
STEEL WIRE ROD HAVING LUBRICATING COATING FILM THAT HAS EXCELLENT CORROSION RESISTANCE AND WORKABILITY
The present invention provides a steel wire rod including a lubricating coating film, which can reconcile workabilities such as wire drawability, spike property, ball ironing property and film removability, and corrosion resistance such as long-term rust prevention property. The steel wire rod includes a lubricating coating film on a surface, wherein the lubricating coating film contains a water-soluble silicate and a water-soluble tungstate, a mass ratio of water-soluble tungstate/water-soluble silicate being in a range of 0.7 to 10, and contains no phosphorus
PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF POLYOXYMETHYLENE BLOCK COPOLYMERS
The invention relates to a process for producing polyoxymethylene block copolymers, comprising the step of activating the DMC catalyst in the presence of an OH-terminated polymeric formaldehyde starter compound by means of a defined amount of alkylene oxide, optionally followed by polymerization with alkylene oxides, if necessary in the presence of other comonomers. The invention further relates to polyoxymethylene block copolymers that can be obtained by means of such a process and to the use of these for producing polyurethane polymers.
RAILWAY LUBRICANT
A water-based solid lubricant includes water, glycerin, isoalkane, molybdenum disulfide, talc powder, calcium sulfonate, and polyisobutylene is described herein.
MICROENCAPSULATION OF CHEMICAL ADDITIVES
The present disclosure relates to new and optimized processes for the preparation of micro- and nano-scale capsules containing lubricant chemical additives. The present disclosure also relates to micro- and nano-scale capsules prepared by such processes, which are useful in a variety of applications, including automotive lubricants, diesel lubricants, industrial lubricants, metal-working lubricants, coolants, and process fluids. Micro- and nano-scale capsules prepared as described herein have the required properties that such capsules need to exhibit in order to function effectively and meet the requirements imposed by engine lubrication conditions. The microcapsules may be dispersed in a lubricating oil such that the lubricant exhibits improved stability and anti-wear performance, thereby improving engine fuel efficiency and performance.
LUBRICANT FOR METAL COLD FORMING PROCESSES AND METHODS OF USE OF THE SAME
Disclosed is a lubricant for use in cold forming of a metal. The lubricant comprises a mixture of at least one lubricating compound and at least one starch. The starch adheres the lubricating compound to the metal surface. The present lubricant completely removes the need to pre-coat the metal with a zinc phosphate coating to adhere the lubricating compound to the metal. The present lubricant eliminates several steps required in processes that utilize zinc phosphate pre-coatings. In addition, the lubricant of the present invention is easily removed after the cold forming operations unlike zinc phosphate coatings.
Multiphase composite lubricant
A multiphase composite lubricant for a railway lubricant stick that can be used in both low and high temperature applications. The composition of the multiphase composite lubricant includes an amount of a lubricant, an amount of a thermoplastic lattice components that forms a lattice structure, and a polymer extender.
