Adjustable support legs for a mattress foundation
Height adjustable mattress assemblies generally include a foundation frame including side frame members and transverse frame members attached at respective ends by a corner bracket to define a generally rectangular shape. A deck is supported by the foundation frame and adjustable support legs are coupled to each one of the corner brackets. Each of the adjustable support legs includes an outer tubular member fastened to an interior facing portion of the corner bracket and a differential driven linear actuator including an extendible portion. The assemblies further include a single or dual actuator assembly mechanically engaged with the differential driven linear actuators in each one of the adjustable support legs to extend or retract the extendible portion so as to change an elevation of the foundation frame relative to ground upon actuation thereof. Also disclosed are processes for adjusting a height of a mattress assembly.
Crib
The present invention provides a crib. The crib comprises an enclosing element configured for holding a baby therein, a frame assembly configured for supporting the enclosing element, a bracket assembly connected to the frame assembly and configured for supporting the frame assembly, and at least two foldable plates pivotably connected to the bracket assembly such that each foldable plate can rotate between an unfolded position and a folded position. Each foldable plate has a curved surface, the curved surfaces of the at least two foldable plates contact the ground to enable the crib to swing when the at least two foldable plates are in their unfolded position. The present invention also provides a crib frame.
Modular user-assembled adjustable, and high-low adjustable beds
In an adjustable bed having juxtaposed between a mattress and a floor an articulated frame, and one or more wired motors operating on the articulated frame so that the mattress resting atop the frame is adjusted in contour, the articulated frame is modular, and ships in two or more modular frame sections each of which is sufficiently small so as to fit upon a standard shipping pallet of 48 by 48. Moreover, and further, the two or more modular frame sections semi-permanently engage by sliding protrusionspreferably steel tubesextending from spaced-parallel frame rails of a one section into a complimentary cavities of the frame railspreferably steel tubes of square cross sectionof a next frame section. This sliding assembly may be done by one adult man, without use of tools. The extensive contact between the telescoping members makes that the connection, and the modular adjustable bed itself, is suitably strong.
CRIB

Piece of furniture, such as an adjustable bed, having an adjustable platform
An adjustable bed having a mattress support platform and a fixed frame base with wheels. A lift mechanism interconnects the mattress support platform and the fixed frame base to displace the mattress support platform between a fully collapsed position and a fully elevated position. The lift mechanism includes leg members pivotally connected with the fixed frame base and with the mattress support platform. A force multiplying actuating linkage interconnects an actuator and the fixed frame base. The actuating linkage includes a driving link and an intermediate link. The driving link has a first end pivotally mounted to the fixed frame base and a second end pivotally connected to the actuator. The intermediate link is pivotally connected to the driving link, and is pivotally engaged with one of the leg members and a stabilizing link. The stabilizing link interconnects one of the leg members and the fixed frame base.
Adjustable bed frame rail riser assemblies
Adjustable bed frame rail riser assemblies include a first riser assembly that detachably couples to a first rail of a bed frame and a second riser assembly that detachably couples to a second rail of the bed frame. Each riser assembly includes a wedge with a top surface with a slope that inclines or declines a mattress or box spring that resides on the top surface. The riser assemblies may be detachably coupled to standard metal or wooden bed frames and need not be permanent fixtures of the bed frames. The riser assemblies of the present invention do not require levers, arms, or electrical parts. The riser assemblies can further be coupled to standard metal or wooden bed frames, without requiring specially designed beds or bed frames.
ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT STRUCTURE
An adjustable support structure having a telescoping assembly that is movable by a drive mechanism between a collapsed position and an extended position. The telescoping assembly may include a latching mechanism that cooperates with one or more telescopic support members to permit or restrict movement of one or more support members relative to each other, which may depend on the position of the support members as the telescoping assembly is collapsed or extended. The drive mechanism may include linkages and a catch mechanism configured to cooperate with the latching mechanism for permitting or restricting relative movement between support members, and which may enable sequential telescopic extension or retraction of the support members. The linkages may be adapted to fit within one or more of the telescopic support members, such that the linkages may support a portion of the load, and may enhance stability by restricting lateral movement within the support members.
BED LIFT
A vehicle includes a bed that is movable upward from a lowered position where the bed is positioned to receive one or more persons to sleep thereon to a stowed position where at least a portion of the bed is stowed adjacent to a ceiling of the vehicle. The portion of the bed can be at least substantially horizontal and horizontally offset when the bed is in the lowered position and the stowed position. The bed can also be positioned above a seating area in the vehicle and moved upward with one or more screw drive members or one or more straps.
Vehicle having a bed lift in a slide-out room
A vehicle includes a slide-out room that moves between a retracted position and an extended position and a bed coupled to the slide-out room. The bed moves vertically between a lowered position where the bed is positioned to receive one or more persons thereon and a raised position where the bed is stowed.
