ARRANGEMENTS WITH RESTING UNITS WITH ADJUSTABLE LYING AND SITTING SURFACES AS WELL AS METHOD FOR CONTROLLING RESTING UNITS
An arrangement having at least one resting unit (B; Hyx) each having a lying/sitting surface (B1) and an actuator (A; A1 . . . ), configured to act on the lying/sitting surface, to adjust a height and/or firmness profile (V1, . . . ). An input value (KG), which corresponds to the standard size of an article of clothing representing a given person in a clothing size system is specified via at least one input unit (EE). A control device (S) derives a control signal (SL) from the input value and outputs the control signal to the actuator, so that the actuator autonomously presets a height/firmness profile, which is adapted to physical body parameters of the person represented by the clothing size, in the lying/sitting surface. A data network (DNi) enables the control unit to output control signals (SLyx) to the actuator of a resting unit (Hyx) selected for the person in such an arrangement.
SUPPORT ASSEMBLY FOR A SLEEP SURFACE LEVELING AIR MATTRESS
A system for levelling an air mattress comprises a levelling device having one or more pneumatic chambers. The pneumatic chambers are configured to inflate and deflate, thereby allowing a user to level the mattress based on the unevenness of the ground surface. The levelling device can be at incrementally inflated or deflated in relation to the thickness of the mattress, such that the lying surface is more even and or less inclined than the ground in the usage position.
Bed or mattress
A bed is described having a mattress or mattress, wherein the mattress has at least two rests arranged on two sides of the mattress parallel to each other, the rests being adapted to be arranged on respective lifting mechanisms intended to bring the mattress into a position such that it can be rotated on itself by 180 about a horizontal axis. According to the invention, the rest support is formed by two extendible elements which converge to form a joint with lower ends attached to the frame at a distance, the floor or the ceiling and at whose top a support is formed for the rests.
HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE BED
The disclosure relates to a height-adjustable bed, in particular a hospital and/or nursing bed, comprising a bed frame, two bed end pieces, which accommodate the bed frame between said bed end pieces, and two telescopic lifting columns, which each interact with one of the two bed end pieces and have a supporting segment and a moving segment, wherein the lifting columns are arranged on the associated bed end pieces on the outside of the bed by means of the supporting segments of the lifting columns, and wherein the moving segment of a lifting column has a lifting column base, on which a supporting roller that can rotate about the vertical axis thereof is arranged, wherein the distance between the articulation point of the supporting roller and the associated bed end piece exceeds the rotation radius that can be described by the supporting roller about the vertical axis thereof.
Bi-directional bed rail assembly
The present application provides a hook assembly having a latitudinal axis bisecting a body into an upper portion above the latitudinal axis further comprising a first bi-directional pin engagement slot and a lower portion below the latitudinal axis further comprising a second bi-directional pin engagement slot, wherein both the upper portion and the lower portion and the first bi-directional pin engagement slot and the second bi-directional engagement slot are mirror images of one another.
Bed supporting device
A bed supporting device adapted to be installed to a bottom seat of a bed includes a leg unit; a first link board connected to an upper end of the leg unit, and formed with a first through hole; and a second link board for connection to the bottom seat, installed on the first link board and formed with a second through hole corresponding to the first through hole; wherein, either the first or second through hole is elongated such that a fixing screw can extend through the first and second through holes in the first and second link boards for coupling a fastener, thereby immobilizing the first and second link boards.
Adjustable bed base with incline/decline feature
An adjustable bed base has a subframe assembly including a subframe which may be inclined relative to a stationary frame by a primary linear actuator. An articulating deck is attached to the subframe. Secondary linear actuators articulate the deck. The subframe assembly is pivotally secured to a portion of the stationary frame. The subframe may be inclined by extending the primary linear actuator which moves ramps, causing wheels attached to the subframe to ride upwardly along the ramps, thereby raising the head end of the subframe relative to the stationary frame.
Bed apparatus
To provide a bed apparatus in which the user's posture can be easily adjusted, which can be divided into lightweight and compact sections and is easy to convey, assembly and disassemble, and has improved work efficiency and maintenance performance. The bed apparatus includes: an upper frame including a back-raising mechanism and a knee-raising mechanism; and link type lifting mechanisms for moving up and down the upper frame, and is constructed such that the link type lifting mechanisms are arranged under the upper frame on the head side and on the foot side, respectively, a connection frame that integrally joins the link type lifting mechanisms to one another, is arranged between the head-side link type lifting mechanism and the foot-side link type lifting mechanism, and the operations of the back-raising mechanism and knee-raising mechanism, the head-side link type lifting mechanisms can be controlled individually or in cooperation.
Elevating bed assembly and components thereof
Components and assemblies for elevating beds and other items supported on a solid surface. An elevating bed assembly is provided that permits attaching a headboard and/or footboard to an elevating portion of a bed while maintaining the headboard and/or footboard in an upright position in contact with the floor. A leg mount system is provided that permits attaching a variety support legs having different shapes and sizes to a single frame without modifying the frame.
MODULAR USER-ASSEMBLED ADJUSTABLE, AND HIGH-LOW ADJUSTABLE BEDS
In an adjustable bed having juxtaposed between a mattress and a floor an articulated frame, and one or more wired motors operating on the articulated frame so that the mattress resting atop the frame is adjusted in contour, the articulated frame is modular, and ships in two or more modular frame sections each of which is sufficiently small so as to fit upon a standard shipping pallet of 48 by 48. Moreover, and further, the two or more modular frame sections semi-permanently engage by sliding protrusionspreferably a steel tubesextending from spaced-parallel frame rails of a one section into a complimentary cavities of the frame railspreferably steel tubes of square cross sectionof a next frame section. This sliding assembly may be done by one adult man, without use of tools. The extensive contact between the telescoping members makes that the connection, and the modular adjustable bed itself, is suitably strong.
