The disclosure generally relates to an adjustable foundation or bed, in particular having a tri-fold adjustable foundation. Three segments of the adjustable foundation, including a mattress support surface with three deck support sections and a subframe with three longitudinal support sections, are foldable/rotatable around two opposing pivot axes such that the three segments can be positioned in a folded, overlapping configuration that is convenient for shipping/transportation, having substantially smaller maximum dimensions than the adjustable foundation in a flat, non-folded configuration. The folded adjustable foundation can be conveniently unfolded and locked into a flat, non-folded configuration suitable for use to support a mattress and a person sleeping/resting thereon.

A foldable bed includes first and second base frames, first and second rods fixed respectively to the first and second base frames, a first support frame mounted turnably to the first base frame, a first jack member coupled between the first rod and the first support frame for driving movement of the first support frame, and at least one reinforcing unit. The reinforcing unit includes a first reinforcing plate mounted on one of the first and second rods. When the first and second base frames are in an unfolded position, the first reinforcing plate is brought into abutting engagement with the other one of the first and second rods so as to distribute a pressure from the first jack member to the second base frame through the second rod.

A foldable bed includes a base, a first frame and a second frame. The first frame is provided with two chest and abdomen support rods. The first frame is connected with two retractable bars which are connected with a head support. The second frame is provided with a plurality of support bars. Thus, when the user is disposed at a prone positioning state, the two chest and abdomen support rods are adjusted to fit the user's body, such that the user's chest and abdomen are exposed and will not be compressed, while the head support is adjusted to fit the user's face, such that the user's eyes, nose, mouth and ears are exposed and will not be compressed, to prevent the user's respiratory tract from being clogged.

A folding bed includes first and second bedsteads and one or more connection members coupling the first and second bedsteads. A connection member can be a frame or a leg connection member. A frame connection member includes first and second vertical end portions to removably couple adjacent peripheral bars of the first and second bedsteads. A leg connection member includes first and second engaging members to removably couple adjacent legs of the first and second bedsteads. The one or more connection members reduce the risk of bending the folding bed and assist in stabilizing the folding bed when in use.

A foldable bed frame includes first and second sub-frames, and a plurality of leg assemblies. The first and second sub-frames are pivotally connected to each other at their proximal sides. The plurality of leg assemblies includes a first leg assembly disposed at a distal side of the first sub-frame, and a second leg assembly disposed at a distal side of the second sub-frame. Each of the first and second leg assemblies includes left and right legs disposed at left and right sides of the foldable bed frame, respectively, and able to rotate in a lateral direction of the foldable bed frame toward or away from each other.

A foldable bed frame includes left and right longitudinal stands. Each of the left and right longitudinal stands includes first and second longitudinal bars pivotally connected to a third longitudinal bar at first and second pivotal points, respectively. Each of the left and right longitudinal stands also includes first, second and third vertical legs fixedly coupled to or integrally formed at the first, second and third longitudinal bars, respectively. The distance between the first vertical leg and the first pivot point is different than the distance between the second vertical leg and the second pivot point such that when folded, one of the first and second vertical legs is disposed in an interior side of the folded left or right longitudinal stand with respect to the other of the first and second vertical legs.

Disclosed are couplers, bedspreads and bedsteads. A bedspread includes a bed cloth, a bed drape and a plurality of couplers. The bed cloth has a peripheral edge corresponding to an upper peripheral frame of a bedframe. The bed drape is coupled or integrally formed with the bed cloth along the peripheral edge, and hangs down when in use. Each coupler includes a plate, a hook, and an elastic strap connecting the plate with the hook. The plate is disposed on an interior side of the bed cloth at or proximal to the peripheral edge of the bed cloth. The hook is configured to couple with a lower support of the bedframe.

A foldable bed includes platforms, first and second support structures for supporting the platforms, and a pair of connection mechanisms for pivotally connecting the first and second support structures such that the first and second support structures are pivotally foldable relative to one another. The first support structure has a pair of first side rails transversely spaced and longitudinally aligned; an upper rail having two ends respectfully connected to the upper ends of the pair of first side rails; and a mounting support bar connected to the pair of first side rails and being parallel to the upper rail. The second support structure has a pair of second side rails transversely spaced and longitudinally aligned; and a lower rail having two ends respectfully connected to the lower ends of the pair of second side rails.

A bedstead includes a frame, an interior support removably coupled with the frame, and outer legs supporting the frame when the bedstead is set up. The interior support includes an inner leg, first connectors disposed circumferentially around the inner leg and connecting bars. Each connecting bar has one end pivotally connected with the inner leg through a first connector, and the other end to be removably coupled with the frame. When in use, the first connector restricts the movement, in particular, the rotation of the connecting bar, and thus enhances the overall structural stability of the bedstead.

A bed can include one or more connectors for connecting components of the bed. For example, a frame can include a fastening mechanism for releasably connecting a cross-member to a longitudinal support. Another example includes connectors for connecting and aligning a foundation with a frame.
