In an embodiment, the silasesquioxane has the chemical formula [RSiO3/2].sub.n with: n=6, 8, 10, 12; where R independently of one another=alkyl (C1-C20), cycloalkyl (C3-C20), alkenyl (C2-C20), cycloalkenyl (C5-C20), alkynyl (C2-C20), cycloalkynyl (C5-C20), aryl (C6-C18) or heteroaryl group, oxy, hydroxy, alkoxy (C4-C10), oxirane polymer (degree of polymerization with 4 to 20 repeat units), carboxy, silyl, alkylsilyl, alkoxysilyl, siloxy, alkylsiloxy, alkoxysiloxy, silylalkyl, alkoxysilylalkyl, alkylsilylalkyl, halogen, epoxy (C2-C20), ester, aryl ether, fluoroalkyl, blocked isocyanate, acrylate, methacrylate, mercapto, nitrile, amine, and/or phosphine group, each substituted or unsubstituted.
AN AQUEOUS COATING AGENT COMPOSITION AND A COATING COMPOSITION FOR AN AQUEOUS LUBRICATING FILM COMPRISING THE SAME
[Problem] To provide an aqueous coating agent composition (in particular, an aqueous coating composition for lubricating films that contains a solid lubricant) which as a whole is excellent in terms of flowability, applicability, and storage stability and which is capable of forming satisfactory and smooth coating films effective in stick-slip inhibition. [Solution] The problem can be solved with an aqueous coating agent composition which comprises (A) a curable resin in an aqueous emulsion form, (B) a surfactant, (C) solid particles, (D) one or more nitrogenous heterocyclic compounds, (E) a film-forming silicone in an aqueous emulsion form, and (F) water. In particular, it is preferable that the (C) component comprise a solid lubricant. In view of the environmental regulations, it is especially preferable that the (D) component be 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone.
PACKAGING HAVING SLIDING LAYER AND METHOD FOR PHARMACEUTICAL AND COSMETIC SUBSTANCES AND PREPARATION FOR PRODUCING SAME
A liquid preparation for application to an inner side of a hollow body to produce a sliding layer on a packaging for pharmaceuticals or cosmetic products comprises the following constituents: a reactive silicone system for forming a silicone network of the sliding layer, a catalyst for catalyzing the cross-linking reaction of the reactive silicone system, at least one unreactive silicone oil, and at least one diluent. The diluent comprises a silicon-containing compound and a content of the at least one diluent in the preparation amounts to more than 45 percent by weight and less than 95 percent by weight in the preparation.
GREASE COMPOSITION, MACHINE COMPONENT, AND STARTER OVERRUNNING CLUTCH
A silicone grease composition having high friction characteristics and wear characteristics is disclosed. The silicone grease composition is provided by adding a zinc salt (B) containing, at a mass ratio from 1:99 to 99:1, a zinc dialkyldithiophosphate (B1) and a zinc dialkyldithiocarbamate (B2) as an extreme-pressure additive to a silicone oil (A).
SILICONE POLYMER EMULSIONS
Silicone oil-in-water emulsions containing a polysiloxane containing polymer is prepared by first preparing a polysiloxane containing polymer by the polymerisation of siloxane containing monomers and/or oligomers in the presence of an inert organopoly siloxane and/or an organic fluid, a suitable catalyst and optionally an end-blocking agent; and quenching the reaction if required. If required one or more surfactants may be introduced into the polysiloxane containing polymer to form a homogenous oil phase. Water is then added (in an amount of 0.1-10 percent by weight based on total oil phase weight) to the homogenous oil phase to form a water-in-oil emulsion. Shear is applied to the water-in-oil emulsion to cause inversion of the water-in-oil emulsion to an oil-in-water emulsion. Finally, if required the oil-in-water emulsion can be diluted by adding more water.

Thermal grease based on hyperbranched olefinic fluid
Disclosed is an effective thermal grease comprising a hyperbranched olefinic fluid and a thermally conductive filler. Property-modifying additives and fillers may also be included. The hyperbranched olefinic fluid is selected to have an average of at least 1.5 methine carbons per oligomer molecule and at least 40 methine carbons per one thousand total carbons. The thermal grease exhibits a flash point of 180 C. or higher, a pour point of 0 C. or lower, and a kinematic viscosity at 40 C. of no more than 200 cSt (0.0002 m 2/s). The composition may offer improved thermal conductivity, reduced tendency to migrate, and lower cost when compared with many other thermal greases, including silicone-based thermal greases.
