Foot care and grooming apparatus that can be placed underneath a mattress or cushion

An apparatus and method usable for foot care and the storage of foot care products. The apparatus has two pivoting portions that when closed serve as a container for foot care products. When opened, one portion of the apparatus may be inserted under either a bed mattress or cushion to help support the other side of the apparatus as a user performs foot care on the second side of the apparatus.

In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a support element and a conformable riser element adjacent the support element. The riser element and the support element collectively form a body support member configured to support a user and define a receiving portion configured to receive a portion of the user's arm. The riser element and the support element are each disposed within a casing formed at least in part with a stretch material. In some embodiments, the riser element includes a polyester filler material and the stretch material includes a four-way stretch material. The four-way stretch material in combination with the polyester filler material enables the riser element to be conformable.

Each gathering element may extend around an end of the cover (e.g., circumferentially, helically around a circumference of the cover, etc.). Each gathering element may enable adjustment of the length and volume of the cover in extremely small increments or even continuously (i.e., in micro adjustments). The length and volume of the cover may be adjusted in a manner that limits or prevents migration of a cushioning element (e.g., an infill material, etc.) within the cover. A cushion, such as a pillow, may include a volume-adjustable cover with a cushioning element therein. Methods for adjusting the manner in which a cushioning element supports, molds around, underfills, and/or backfills a load and its form are also disclosed.

A foot pillow that is a flat cushion for the feet, an apparatus that consists of one or more layers that are combined into one unit that a person can put their feet on. To distinguish from prior art, this foot pillow has multiple strategic layers to elevate the feet from the floor or ground surface. This foot pillow is one to four inches in thickness. A reflective insulated layer is added to reflect the cold from the floor and the warmth of the feet. The top layer may be attached or can be removed for washing.

The bed with multiple separable segments of the present disclosure may be separated into multiple bed body segments connected in an insertion connection manner, so that stacking or transportation volume is greatly reduced so as to facilitate storage or transportation.

Disclosed is a pillow for placing between the knees while sleeping. The pillow has a substantially toroid-shaped outer casing with an inner volume containing a fill material. The generally uniform round shape of embodiments of the pillow provides for easy insertion of the pillow between the knees because the pillow does not have to be oriented in any particular radial direction prior to insertion. Some embodiments of the pillow may have a hole through the center. Both the top and bottom surfaces of embodiments of the pillow curve downward and inward toward the center, forming a top and bottom depression for cradling the knee joints while preventing the pillow from unintentionally sliding out from between the knees. A method of using a pillow for placing between the knees is also disclosed.
