Allotrope of carbon having increased electron delocalization
Newly discovered allotrope of carbon having a multilayered nanocarbon array exhibits among other properties exceptional stability, electrical conductivity and electromagnetic frequency (emf) attenuation characteristics. Members of this new allotrope include nanocarbon structures possessing vast electron delocalization in multiple directions unavailable to known fullerene-characterized materials like carbon nano-onions (CNOs), multiwalled carbon nano-tubes (MWNTs), graphene, carbon nano-horns, and carbon nano-ellipsoids such that stabilizing electron delocalization crosses or proceeds between layers as well as along layers in multiple directions within a continuous cyclic structure having an advanced interlayer connectivity bonding system involving the whole carbon array apart from incidental defects.

Method for manufacturing oil gel capsules and method for manufacturing contact part for vehicle, including oil gel capsules
The present disclosure relates to manufacturing oil gel capsules and adding the same to an overlay layer of a contact part for a vehicle. The present disclosure may provide a method for manufacturing oil gel capsules and a method for manufacturing a contact part for a vehicle, including the oil gel capsules. The oil gels in the oil gel capsules manufactured by the present disclosure may respond to the temperature environment of a contact part for a vehicle, and an aggregation phenomenon of gelators or an aggregation phenomenon of surfactants may not occur even after an oil is released. Therefore, as oil gel capsules are added to an overlay layer, the present disclosure may improve low friction characteristics and seizure resistance characteristics of a contact part for a vehicle without any side effects caused by the above-described aggregation phenomenon.
Method for preparing super-lubricative multi-layer composite fullerene-like carbon layer/graphene-like boron nitride thin film
A method for preparing a super-lubricative multi-layer composite fullerene-like carbon layer/graphene-like boron nitride thin film is provided. A substrate is ultrasonically cleaned in absolute ethyl alcohol and acetone sequentially for 15 min. The substrate is cleaned by argon plasma bombardment for 15 min. A fullerene-like carbon layer A having an onion-like structure is prepared by high-vacuum medium-frequency magnetron sputtering for 30 s. A graphene-like boron nitride layer B is prepared by high-vacuum medium-frequency magnetron sputtering and coating device to sputter the elemental boron target for 30 s. Steps (3) and (4) are repeated 80 times to overlay the fullerene-like carbon layer A and the graphene-like boron nitride layer B in an alternate way. The super-lubricative multi-layer composite fullerene-like carbon layer/graphene-like boron nitride thin film has a large load capacity, and excellent wear resistance, high temperature resistance and super lubrication.
