SOLVENT EXTRACTION APPARATUSES AND METHODS
The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for the solvent extraction of a substance from a material. The disclosed systems include multiple tanks and an extraction column in communication with the tanks.
Solvent extraction apparatus and methods
The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for the solvent extraction of a substance from a material. The disclosed systems include multiple tanks and an extraction chamber in communication with the tanks. Solvent transport is accomplished by heating and/or cooling selected tanks to cause the solvent to be transported between tanks.
High-efficiency supercritical oil extraction method
A high-efficiency supercritical oil extraction method is provided. According to the method, in an early extraction stage, extraction is performed using an extractant along an extraction kettle from top to bottom; in a middle extraction stage, the extraction kettle is longitudinally flipped by 180 degrees, extraction is still performed using an extractant along the extraction kettle from top to bottom; in a later extraction stage, extraction is performed using a conventional extractant along the extraction kettle from bottom to top. Thus, the pressure effect and the critical extraction effect of the critical extractant are simultaneously exerted, thereby greatly improving the extraction efficiency of supercritical oil extraction, shortening the extraction time, and reducing the dosage of extractant, so as to achieve high-efficiency and low-cost oil extraction.
Condensible gas botanical extraction systems and methods
A method for extracting compounds from botanical material using a condensable gas solvent comprising passing the condensable gas solvent containing the at least one compound extracted from a feedstock through a sonic flow nozzle and introducing the solvent exiting the sonic flow nozzle at a supersonic velocity into a cyclone separator.
Method for Preparing Functional Grease through Segmented Solid-State Fermentation of Mixed Fungi
The disclosure discloses a method for preparing functional grease through segmented solid-state fermentation of mixed fungi, and belongs to the field of edible oil processing. According to the disclosure, soybeans are used as a main fermentation substrate, for the requirements for different functional nutrition, the soybeans are matched with other oil seeds, fungus segmented solid-state fermentation is used and combined with a supercritical extraction fractionation technology, so that the purposes of improving the aftertaste of soybean oils and generating different flavors are achieved, and the nutritional value of the grease is improved. The fungus segmented solid-state fermentation of the disclosure can improve the oil yield, improve the fatty acid composition of the grease, and increase the content of main flavor substances such as pyrazines, alcohols and phenols, and the sensory functions such as flavor and color of the grease more meet the requirements of consumers for innovative products. Fermented dregs can be further processed to produce byproducts like functional polypeptides, so that sustainable green development is realized.
COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING OMEGA-3 FATTY ACIDS, 17-HDHA AND 18-HEPE AND METHODS OF USING SAME
The present invention relates to a polyunsaturated fatty acid composition comprising Omega-3 fatty acids, 17-HDHA and 18-HEPE. The composition can furthermore comprise DPA and/or an acceptable carrier and can be present in a capsule or other suitable dosage unit. The invention also relates to the process of obtaining the composition and methods for using same.
Extraction System with Dual-Purpose Pump
Provided is an extraction system which can be used to recover light oils and other organic materials during a supercritical or subcritical fluid extraction. The extraction system utilizes dual-purpose gas-liquid extraction pump for pumping the extracting material (e.g., CO.sub.2) in either the vapor phase or the liquid phase within the extractor. The extractor is a pressure vessel which functions as an independent, full spectrum extractor. Organic material is inserted within a compartment within the extractor and liquefied and compressed gases are passed through the organic material to obtain the extractant. The extraction system also includes a separator to separate the extracting fluid from the extracted material.

The disclosed systems include multiple tanks and an extraction chamber in communication with the tanks. Solvent transport is accomplished by heating and/or cooling selected tanks to cause the solvent to be transported between tanks.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BIO-LIQUID FUEL
A method for manufacturing a bio-liquid fuel wherein microalgae containing an oil/fat are brought into contact with a supercritical or subcritical methanol, or a supercritical or subcritical ethanol, in the presence of a catalyst that is an oxide containing at least one metal selected from the group consisting of metals of group 2 to group 13 in the periodic table, lanthanoids and actinoids.
Method of producing oils and fats and oil- and fat- producing apparatus
An oil production apparatus includes a reaction vessel where raw material composed of an agricultural residue or a fishery residue is fed, a water vapor injecting unit for injecting saturated water vapor into the reaction vessel, a kneading unit for kneading a content in the reaction vessel, a temperature sensor disposed at a lower part of the reaction vessel, a pressure regulating unit regulating the pressure, a control unit for controlling driving of the water vapor injection unit, the kneading unit, the pressure regulating unit, a housing for making a working area for extraction of oil oxygen-free, a solid-liquid separation unit for separating solid from a product and water removal unit both disposed in the housing, and a nitrogen injection unit for injecting nitrogen into the housing. A method for obtaining the oil is also presented.
