Perfume systems
The present application relates to perfume raw materials, perfume delivery systems and consumer products comprising such perfume raw materials and/or such perfume delivery systems, as well as processes for making and using such perfume raw materials, perfume delivery systems and consumer products. Such perfume raw materials and compositions, including the delivery systems, disclosed herein expand the perfume communities' options as such perfume raw materials can provide variations on character and such compositions can provide desired odor profiles.
ALICYCLIC MUSK FRAGRANCE COMPOUNDS
The present invention primarily relates to the use of a compound according to the general formula (I) wherein i) m is 1, n is 1, o is 0 or 1, Y is Hydrogen, or ii) m is 2, n is 0, o is 1, Y is methyl, and wherein X is O or methylene, R and R1 are each methyl or form together with the carbon atom attached to a carbonyl group, and R2 is methyl, ethyl, propyl, butyl, butan-2-one-4-yl, tetrahydrofuran-2-yl, or tetrahydrofuran-3-yl, as perfuming ingredients. Moreover, the present invention relates to perfume compositions and perfumed products comprising the before mentioned perfuming ingredients. Still more particularly, the invention relates to a method for producing said perfumed products and a method of imparting and/or increasing musk odor characteristics to perfumed products. This invention also relates to a process for the preparation of said compounds according to the general formula (I).
High-coverage, low oder malodor counteractant compounds and methods of use
A composition containing a malodor counteracting compound and a method for using the compound for counteracting a malodor in air space or a substrate is provided.
2-(5-ISOPROPYL-2-METHYL-CYCLOHEX-2-EN- 1-YL-)ACETALDEHYDE AND 2-(6-ISOPROPYL- 3-METHYL-CYCLOHEX-2-EN-1-YL-) ACETALDEHYDE AS NEW ODORANTS

as well as mixtures comprising or consisting of compounds of formula (I). Furthermore, the present invention relates to a process for the preparation of the compounds of formula (I) and to the use of the compounds of formula (I) as a perfuming ingredient, in particular as a lily of the valley perfuming ingredient. Ultimately, the present invention relates to perfume preparations and perfumed products or consumer goods comprising at least one of the compounds of formula (I).
Compositions and methods for extracting perfume oil from pistachio hulls
A method for extracting an essence or perfume oil from pistachio hulls, the method comprises separating the pistachio green hulls or velvet hulls from pistachio nuts using an industrial separator and subjecting the hulls to an extraction method, which causes release of the essence from essence containing glands, wherein the essence mixes with steam forming vapors. The method further comprises distilling the vapors to form a liquid comprising the essence mixed with an aqueous component and separating the essence from the aqueous component. Compositions and methods for extracting perfume oil from pistachio hulls are described.
Mask Scenting Systems and Methods
Systems and methods for scenting masks for providing a scent to a user include a mask system having a mask with an interior surface, an exterior surface, a right ear loop, and a left ear loop. Mask systems can also include a scenting assembly having a scented portion and an adhesive portion, where the scented portion includes an absorbent patch impregnated with a scented substance. The adhesive portion of the scenting system can be attached with the interior surface of the mask, such that when the mask system is worn by the user, aromatic molecules of the scented substance exit the absorbent patch and flow into the user's nose without the scented substance touching the user's skin.
Extended release insect repellant or fragrance compositions
Compositions are provided that provide release of insect repellant or fragrance over an extended period of time. The compositions comprise a hydrophilically-modified cross-linked silicone elastomer and an acrylic rheology modifier.
MALODOR COUNTERACTING COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD FOR THEIR USE
The invention relates to a malodor counteractancy or counteracting (MOC) method that resorts to the use of specific malodor counteracting (MOC) mixtures of fragrance ingredients. More particularly, the invention relates to new MOC compositions capable of neutralizing or masking in an efficient manner malodors of a large variety of such as body or as malodors, kitchen malodors, toilet and bathroom malodors, and tobacco malodor. The novel MOC compositions of the invention contain at least one nitrite material in combination with another fragrance material and can be used in any finished consumer products such as air fresheners, kitchen or toilet/bathroom cleaning or freshening products, textile treatment products and products for application on the human skin or hair, or on animal fur, litter containers or cages.
Polysiloxane conjugates as fragrance delivery systems
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns polymers derived from siloxane derivatives and comprising at least one β-thio carbonyl moiety capable of liberating an active molecule such as, for example, an α,β-unsaturated ketone or aldehyde. The present invention concerns also the use of polymers in perfumery as part of a perfuming or malodor counteracting composition as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.
Thioether derivatives as precursors for a controlled release of active molecules
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns short chain β-sulfur carbonyl moieties capable of liberating an active molecule, such as a perfuming α,β-unsaturated ketone or aldehyde. The present invention concerns also the use of said compounds in perfumery as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.
