Linear dual actuator for lying or sitting furniture having at least two sections (2,3), which with one end is rotatably embedded in the article of furniture and where each section (2,3) with an arm (5,7) secured to a pivot shaft (4,6) can be adjusted by means of the linear dual actuator. The dual actuator comprises a housing (8) with a drive at each end, which comprises an electric motor (11), which through a transmission (12) is in driving connection with a spindle (13). On the spindle (13) is arranged an activation element (14) with a spindle nut in engagement with the spindle (13), where the activation element (14) can be brought into engagement with the arm (5,7) for adjusting the sections (2,3). In case of power failure there is the problem that the back rest and leg rest section cannot be lowered to a plane level, which can make the bed uncomfortable or completely impossible to sleep in. This problem is solved in that a rotating element in the drives comprises a connection (21), which is accessible from the outer side of the housing (8) for connecting a tool, e.g. an Allen key (22) for driving the respective drives for the back rest and leg rest section (2,3) for lowering of these to a horizontal position.

An adjustable electric bed, comprising a bed frame, a plurality of mutually articulated bed boards and a driving motor for driving the bed boards to rise and fall, wherein the plurality of bed boards at least comprise a head bed board, a fixed bed board, a leg bed board and a foot bed board which are articulated successively, wherein the fixed bed board is fixed with the bed frame, the undersurface of the head bed board is fixedly provided with a head connector, wherein the driving motor at least comprises a head motor and a leg motor, two ends of the head motor are respectively articulated with the bed frame and the head connector, the undersurface of the leg bed board is fixedly provided with leg connector, two ends of the leg motor are respectively articulated with the bed frame and the leg connector.

LINEAR DUAL ACTUATOR

The dual actuator comprises a housing (8) with a recess (10) in each end for each of the pivot shafts (4,6) on the article of furniture and where the arms (5,7) on the pivot shafts (4,6) after the dual actuator has been mounted on the article of furniture reach into the housing (8). Each end of the housing is furnished with a drive comprising an electric motor (11), which through a transmission (12) drives a spindle (13a) with a thrust element (18) having one end in engagement with the arm (5,7) for 'adjusting the sections (2,3). The electric motors (11) are located axis-aligned with the respective spindles (13a). Thus, the housing (8) can be constructed as a flat box with a relatively low height, as the only thing which should be considered in terms of the height is the thickness of the electric motors and not their length. As the housing (8) can be constructed as a flat box without bulges and indentations the mould is thus also relatively uncomplicated.

An environmental control assembly has a case configured for attachment to a bottom surface of an articulation assembly. One or more inlet fans is attached to a first wall of the case. An inlet plenum receives air provided by the one or more fans and extends from the first wall to a central chamber. An outlet plenum extends from the central chamber to a second wall of the case. A first pair of outlet ports extends from the outlet plenum proximate the central chamber through side walls of the case and a second pair of outlet ports extends from the outlet plenum distal the central chamber through side walls of the case. A cylindrical flow diffuser is positioned in the outlet plenum between the side walls and controls airflow into the first pair of ports and second pair of ports, each of said outlet ports configured for attachment to one of a plurality of flexible air conduits.

Linear actuator

A linear actuator is described comprising an actuator housing, a driven element moveable at a front end of the linear actuator and a mounting (4) at a rear end of the linear actuator, wherein the mounting (4) comprises two arms (9,10) and an accommodation space (11) between the two arms (9,10). The object underlying the invention is to provide a linear actuator which can easily be mounted with its rear mounting. To this end, at least one arm (9,10) is provided with a lever (12,13) which is rotatable about an axis between an open position and a closed position, wherein in the closed position, an end portion (14,16) of the lever (12,13) at least partly closes an opening (18) between the two arms (9,10) and in the open position makes the opening (18) accessible.

The electric bed includes left and right modules, front and rear transverse beams having two ends bare-handed detachably mounted with the left and right modules respectively, and back, buttock, thigh and lower leg supporting units bare-handed detachably mounted with the left and right modules, respectively. A front actuator has two ends bare-handed detachably and pivotally connected with the front transverse beam and the back supporting unit, respectively. A rear actuator has two ends bare-handed detachably and pivotally connected with the rear transverse beam and the thigh supporting unit, respectively. As such, the electric bed can be easily and conveniently assembled and dismantled in accordance with the user's requirement and can be packed with minimized volume of packing material to reduce the transportation cost.

The second support leg is pivotally connected between the fixing bracket and the first support leg. A lumbar support member is connected to the lifting support brackets of the first and second lumbar lifting assemblies.
