Economical Actuation Modules and Systems for Beds
The invention is directed to modules for installation in beds to adjustably support targeted body zones of a user. Modularization renders actively controlled bed technology available to a broad range of beds on the market including upgrading many users' existing beds. Bed actuation modules include one or more lift systems connected to a mechanical support which has bed mounting devices for enabling installation of the module in a broad range of bed frames. An adjustable height platform of each lift system can be raised or lowered without necessarily changing the angle of inclination thereof. Lift systems for variable support of two zones may be actuated by single actuator in a way that provides contra-acting movement of the respective mattress support surfaces. Optionally, inclusion of a sensing and inference system enables automatic control of a bed actuation module according to the inferred orientation of a user's body.
Universal adjustment drive with Bowden cable
Electric motor furniture drive for adjusting parts of a piece of furniture relative to one another has a drive unit which has at least one electric motor and is in drive connection with at least one tensioning unit. Furniture drive has a base body which is preferably configured as a housing and is accommodated in or on the tensioning unit. At least two Bowden cables are operatively associated with each tensioning unit, traction cables of Bowden cables being in operative connection with associated tensioning unit. Traction cables are guided or guidable to tensioning unit(s) through at least one recess in the housing. The sheathings of the Bowden cables are fixed or fixable to the base body.
SOME FUNCTIONAL PARTS OF OPERATING TABLE AND OPERATING TABLE
The present disclosure relates to an operating table, the operating table comprising a table top, a table top support and a column with a column head, wherein the sealing device is bellows assembled below the column head, or an adhesive in a hole and/or window on the holder of the cable, or a sealing gasket between the receiver and the column head, or a shield sealingly attached to the column head below the gear. The present disclosure further relates to control equipment, a lifting device, an intelligent charger, a column guide system for an operating table, as well as an operating table including the same.
ELECTROMOTIVE DUAL DRIVE
An electromotive dual drive for adjustment of two different furniture parts of a piece of furniture includes a housing having opposite end sections. Each end section is formed with a shaft holder for receiving a pivot shaft of the piece of furniture. Two drive units are arranged one behind another in the housing in a longitudinal direction, with each drive unit including a drive motor, a transmission, and a spindle drive including a spindle which acts on an output member operably connected to a respective one of the pivot shafts. The spindles and/or the output members of the drive units are sized of different lengths, and the drive motor of one of the drive units and the drive motor of the other one of the drive units are spaced from the shaft holders, respectively, at different distances.
Actuator assembly for an adjustable seating or lying furniture item as well as an adjustable seating or lying furniture item
The invention relates to an actuator assembly for an adjustable seating or lying furniture item, in particular for an adjustable bed or an adjustable comfortable armchair, comprising a spindle that can be activated by means of a drive for causing axial rotation, which is mounted in a stationary manner. The actuator assembly also comprises a sliding block mechanically coupled with the spindle, the sliding block can be moved parallel in relation to a longitudinal axis of the spindle when said spindle is activated. The actuator assembly also comprises a coupling element mounted in a manner allowing it to be moved in relation to the spindle with a first slotted guide, in which the sliding block is at least partially guided in such a way that the coupling element is shifted when the spindle is activated, in order to move a segment of the adjustable seating or lying furniture item that can be mechanically coupled with the coupling element. The invention further relates to an adjustable seating or lying furniture item.
LINEAR ACTUATOR
A linear actuator is configured to provide the moving force for adjustable furniture, such as beds, chairs, or tables. The linear actuator includes a drive assembly, rigid arm, and linkage assembly. The rigid arm includes a pusher block with one or more attachment projections where the linkage assembly is attached.
Driving mechanism and adjustable bed therewith
A driving mechanism and an adjustable bed have the same. The driving mechanism includes a housing; a driving assembly being placed in the housing and comprising at least one driving member and at least one driving block connected to the at least one driving member; and at least one transmission structure configured to connect to a lifting mechanism of the adjustable bed. The at least one transmission structure is pivotally connected to the housing and the at least one driving block, such that when the at least one driving member drives the at least one driving block to move linearly, the movement of the at least one driving block causes the at least one transmission structure to rotate.
ADJUSTABLE SLEEP SYSTEM WITH INDEPENDENT SECTIONS
An adjustable sleep system includes a first bed section having a first length and configured to support a user's legs and torso. The sleep system also includes a second bed section adjacent to the first bed section having a second length and configured to support a user's arms, shoulders, and head. At least one of the first bed section or second bed section includes a height adjustment mechanism adapted to adjust a height of the first bed section or second bed section. In various embodiments, the first length is about 3 to about 4 times the second length. In various embodiments, the sleep system may also include a pivotally adjustable platform pivotally attached to the second bed section adapted to change the angle of the pivotally adjustable platform relative to the second bed section and/or the first bed section.
