Candle Making Apparatus
Disclosed is a candle making apparatus including an electric appliance for a process of sequentially melting, mixing and holding the constituents of a container candle inside a jug and at a molten temperature until a user is ready to pour the melt into a container. Typically the constituents of such candles include vegetable wax, soy products, vegetable oils, fats or fatty acids. They are melted at a higher temperature, then mixed, and cooled so that volatile ingredients can be added at a lower temperature while the mixture remains melted, and is further stirred. The process is controlled by a microprocessor. A visual interface displays progress and accepts user input.
Eco-Friendly DIY Candle Making Kits For Filling Or Refilling New Or Used Candle Vessels
Kits and methods are provided for filling or refilling new or used candle vessels. The kits and methods are designed to offer a viable, convenient, easy-to-use, and environmentally conscious product and/or option for consumers to reuse, repurpose, fill or refill new or existing candle vessels. A candle making kit apparatus includes a wax assembly having a refill wax stored in a recyclable container, and a materials assembly including one or more materials for use with the refill wax. The kits can be made with eco-friendly and recycled materials and, after use, the kits can be recycled or reused to lessen the burden of our landfills and on our environment.
WAX COMPOSITIONS AND THE EFFECT OF METALS ON BURN RATES
A wax composition is disclosed, comprising a hydrogenated natural oil with (i) at least about 50 wt % of a triacylglycerol component having a fatty acid composition from about 14 to about 25 wt % C16:0 fatty acid, about 45 to about 60 wt % C18:1 fatty acid and about 20 to about 30 wt % C18:0 fatty acid, (ii) a nickel content of less than 1 ppm, and (iii) a melt point of about 49? C. to about 57? C. The hydrogenated natural oil is filtered and/or bleached to obtain a nickel content of less than 0.5 ppm. A candle is also disclosed, comprising a wick and the above described wax.
Wax melt system
A wickless wax melt includes a prilled wax body defined by two opposing substantially planar surfaces and four sidewalls. At least one volatile material is disposed within the wax body and the wax body is characterized by an oil content up to about 10% to impart a non-greasy feel thereto and wherein the wax body weighs more than about 0.01 kg.
CANDLE FRAMING SYSTEM
A candle frame for displaying a pendant that includes: a cuboid solid structure; an opening through the solid structure; an eyelet at a top of the opening; a chain extending from the eyelet; and a pendant attached to the end of the chain. The eyelet is a component of an eyelet screw. The cuboid solid structure may include a recess on a top side of the candle frame, where the cuboid solid structure is created through the use of a rubber mold.
MOULDING PROCESS
The invention is directed to a method of forming a moulded item said method comprising the steps of (a) providing a mould former comprising an indentation having an inner surface and a bottom face and made of plastics and manufactured by a 3-dimensional printing process, said mould former being shaped to form a mould having (i) an indentation corresponding to the desired shape of said moulded item; and (ii) a series of holes extending between the inner surface and the bottom face of the mould former, (b) forming a mould in said mould former from a plastics material; (c) positioning an elongate member in said mould; (d) introducing a volume of liquid into said indentation; (e) positioning a cover over said mould and sealing it thereto; (f) causing said liquid to solidify.
ORGANIC CANDLE
Organic candles of palm oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and one or more essential oils and methods for their production are provided.
ARRAY OF BREAKABLE WAX MELTS AND ARRAY OF CONTAINERS FOR BREAKABLE WAX MELTS
An array of breakable wax melts is provided. The array includes a first breakable wax melt having a first shape that corresponds with a first theme. The array also includes a second breakable wax melt having a second shape that is different from the first shape, wherein the second shape corresponds to a second theme. The first and second themes are each selected from the group consisting of: a perfume mixture, holiday, season, a graphic on a container for containing the first or second breakable wax melts, and combinations thereof. An array of containers for containing the breakable wax melts is also provided.
Measuring apparatus to accurately determine the amount of melted wax to be poured into a container for the purpose of producing a candle
A measuring device for measuring the depth of candle wax in a container. The measuring device has a hook that rests on the side of the container while melted hot viscous liquid candle wax is poured from a pouring container into the candle wax container. The user of the present invention can easily see the depth of the candle wax when candle wax is poured into a container by various line markers that correspond to different elevations within the container. The user is also able to measure the distance from the top of the container to the top level of candle wax.
Candles and Related Components and Methods
A candle includes a flammable medium that is at least semi-solid. A wick assembly is at least partially integrated within the flammable medium. The wick assembly includes a wick having a top end and a bottom end and at least one stop coupled with the wick between the top end and the bottom end. The stop is configured to substantially prevent the candle from burning beyond the stop. The stop is configured to be manually removable, after the wick has burned from the top end to the stop, to substantially separate a burned portion of the wick from a remainder of the wick. After the burned portion and stop have been thus manually removed, a substantially non-burned top portion of the remainder is exposed and is capable of being ignited to re-light the candle.
