PIVOTAL FITTING AND SITTING OR LYING DEVICE
A pivotal fitting includes a bearing element on which a first pivot lever and a second pivot lever are rotatably mounted about spaced-apart axes, the first pivot lever and the second pivot lever engaging one another on the side facing one another and being rotatable together, a movable locking element being provided on the bearing element which is movable between a position locking the first and second pivot levers and a position unlocking the first and second pivot levers, in which the pivot levers are rotatable. The locking element is manually movable by an operating element from the locking position into the unlocking position. As a result, the pivotal fitting can be used to mount a seat part and a back part on a piece of furniture so that they can pivot relative to one another.
Convertible Chair Bed Device
A convertible chair bed device. The convertible chair bed device includes a frame assembly, having a left bar support and a right bar support, configured to support a plurality of cross bars. The frame assembly is sized to accept a padded base between the left bar support and the right bar support, and the padded base includes a first section pivotally attached to a second section. During use, an individual seated on the padded base, such as a handicapped individual, is able to grip and move any of the plurality of cross bars to independently transition between a seated position and a supine position.
ACTUATED GRADUATED LATERAL ROTATION APPARATUS
A lateral rotation apparatus may include a person support surface having a head segment and a torso segment. An adjustable leg may have a head support positioned below the head segment. The adjustable leg may have a torso support positioned below the torso segment. The head support may be adjustable to rotate the head segment. The torso support may be adjustable to rotate the torso segment. A linkage assembly may be coupled to the head support and the torso support. The linkage assembly may have a sliding link that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The sliding link may also be rotatable between a first rotational position and a second rotational position. An actuator is operable to move the sliding link.
MANUALLY ADJUSTABLE BED
The present disclosure provides a manually adjustable bed, including: a bed frame, wherein a fixed bed board is fixedly mounted at an upper part of the bed frame; a movable bed board is hinged to each of two ends of the fixed bed board; a cross rod is fixedly mounted on each movable bed board; a group of angle adjustment mechanism is mounted between each cross rod and the bed frame; the angle adjustment mechanisms are configured to adjust inclination angles of the movable bed boards to meet usage needs of different users; each group of angle adjustment mechanism includes two fixed frames, two middle baffle plates, a positioning rod, and a connecting rod. The manually adjustable bed provided by the present disclosure has a novel and interesting operation mode, which can greatly improve the operation experience.
Item of furniture having an actuating system for adjusting at least one movable element
An item of furniture includes at least one movable element and an actuating system for adjusting the movable element. The actuating system includes at least one linear actuator, a power supply unit and a manual control device. The power supply unit and the manual control device are electrically connected to the linear actuator, which has a diagnostic system having at least one illuminated indicator for indicating the functioning of the three components. The diagnostic system allows the user or a repair service to determine which of the three components is faulty, so that only the faulty component has to be replaced. Repair costs can be reduced significantly. The replacement of one of the three components can also then be carried out without difficulty by the user or a repair service.
LATCHING MOTION TRANSFER MECHANISM
Latching motion transfer arrangements may be used to raise an object up and out of the engagement with the ground or other support surface and to lower the object back onto the ground or other support surface. In one exemplary embodiment, the mechanism is caused to lift and latch by applying force in a first direction, a first time, and is caused to release and lower by applying force in the first direction, a second time.
