Pneumatically Actuated Lifting Cushion
This device relates to a pneumatically inflatable cushion, which is lightweight, portable, extremely durable, and aesthetically attractive. The device is an inflatable cushion designed to assist in raising and lowering people who are unable to move freely by themselves. It is designed to support, horizontally stabilize, and center a person sitting on the cushion. This device can be used in the bathtub while exposed to water, and on regular surfaces both indoors and outdoors. This device is also designed to provide lift and support on solid surfaces and on water surfaces. This device is also designed to assist in the raising and lowering of objects, both living and non-living. The height and width can be easily customized and adapted to the needs of the user. This device may be used individually or connected with multiple units to form a larger monolithic device capable of lifting larger and heavier loads.
Systems, methods, and devices for the treatment of sleep disorders
A sleep apparatus, such as a mattress for example, is provided in one embodiment. The apparatus comprises a head support surface sized to support a person's head, and a torso support surface sized to support a person's torso. The head support surface is generally laterally sloped moving from the first side toward the second side, and the torso support surface is generally laterally sloped moving from the first side toward the second side. In some embodiments, the lateral slope of the head support surface is at least about 15, the lateral slope of the head support surface is greater than the lateral slope of the torso support surface, and/or, the sleep apparatus slopes in the longitudinal direction as well.
SPRING MATTRESS WITH SOFTNESS ADJUSTABLE MECHANISM
A spring mattress with a softness adjustable mechanism includes an upper mattress body, a lower mattress body, a plurality of springs, and a plurality of softness adjusting units. An accommodating space is formed between the upper mattress body and the lower mattress body. The springs and the softness adjusting units are disposed in the accommodating space. The softness adjusting units are spaced apart from each other, and the softness adjusting units respectively abut against the springs to adjust elasticities of the springs.
REMOTE MANAGEMENT, CONTROL AND ALERT SYSTEM FOR MEDICAL AIR ALTERNATION MATTRESS
A remote management, control and alert system for a medical air alternation mattress provided in the present disclosure comprises an integration and connection between internal and external devices/units. An internal pressure control device connected with at least one air inflation/deflation unit which connects with a plurality of air cushion units in an air mattress for regulated pressure of the air cushion units in the air mattress through the air inflation/deflation unit in a controlled manner; furthermore, the pressure control device is further connected with a manipulation device to operate or analyze the data processing device through the manipulation device, for controlled regulation of pressures in all parts of the air mattress. These aforementioned internal devices/units are then in turn connected to and integrated with an external managing device allowing the user to control, monitor and receive alert notifications for the entire integrated system or systems to which it is connected.
PUMP AND VALVE COMBINATION FOR BLADDER ADJUSTMENT
A pump and valve combination for bladder adjustment is revealed and including a fluid supply member, a valve member and a bypass line. The fluid supply member includes a head end and a tail end. A bottom cover is disposed on the tail end and the fluid supply member provides fluid to the bottom cover through the tail end. The valve member is arranged at the head end and communicating with bladders. The valve member includes a valve cap fixed on the head end, a solenoid operated directional control valve, and an air supply tube. Two ends of the bypass line are connected to the bottom cover and an air input end of the air supply tube, respectively. An input portion and an output portion of the solenoid operated directional control valve are connected to an air output end of the air supply tube and the bladder respectively.
AIR MATTRESS SYSTEMS WITH ADJUSTABLE INCLINATION
Air mattress systems and assemblies allowing adjustment between different portions to achieve a generally level sleeping surface. An air mattress may have a base chamber that, when inflated, has generally planar upper and lower boundaries. A lower angled chamber disposed above the base chamber may be formed as a generally elongated wedge extending the length of the mattress and has an angled upper boundary. An upper angled chamber may be disposed above the lower angled chamber and formed as a generally elongated wedge extending the length of the mattress and having a lower boundary defined by the upper boundary of the lower angled chamber and a generally planar upper boundary. The upper and lower angled chambers may be variably inflated to result in a generally level planar upper surface, where the base chamber is in contact with a sloped surface.
MATTRESS SUPPORT FOR ADDING HOSPITAL BED FUNCTIONALITY TO AN IN-HOME BED
A mattress support includes a base plate configured to be positioned on a box spring of a bed. A bladder may be coupled to a top surface of the base plate. A top plate is coupled to a top surface of the bladder. A top surface of the top plate is configured to support a mattress. The bladder is inflatable to adjust a height of the top plate.
MATTRESS SUPPORT FOR ADDING HOSPITAL BED MODULAR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR UPGRADING A BED TO INCLUDE MOVABLE COMPONENTS
A modular system is usable to vary the conditions around a bed in a home to provide various levels of support for patients who are at home and have varying acuity of medical complications. The modular system allows the home bed to be temporarily adapted for medical care.
STRUCTURES FOR CAUSING MOVEMENT OF ELEMENTS OF A BED
The present disclosure is related to a bed assembly. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to a bed assembly that is compatible with a traditional consumer bed and can enhance the traditional consumer bed so it provides features of a traditional hospital bed.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR UPGRADING A BED TO INCLUDE MOVEABLE COMPONENTS
A mattress support includes a first section and a second section configured to be coupled to the first section. Each of the first section and the second section includes a base plate configured to be positioned on a box frame of a bed. A top plate is hingedly attached to the base plate. A bladder is positioned between the base plate and the top plate and inflatable to adjust a height of the top plate.
