HYDROPHOBICALLY MODIFIED UREA ETHERS AS STRUCTURANTS FOR HYDROPHOBIC SYSTEMS
Consumer product compositions comprising hydrophobically modified urea ethers.
Thioether derivatives as precursors for a controlled release of active molecules
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns short chain β-sulfur carbonyl moieties capable of liberating an active molecule, such as a perfuming α,β-unsaturated ketone or aldehyde. The present invention concerns also the use of said compounds in perfumery as well as the perfuming compositions or perfumed articles comprising the invention's compounds.
GUAR GUM MICROCAPSULES
Disclosed are microcapsule compositions having a microcapsule that contains a microcapsule core and a microcapsule shell encapsulating the microcapsule core. The microcapsule has a particle size of 1 micron to 100 microns in diameter. The microcapsule core contains an active material. The microcapsule shell is formed of at least three moieties, in which a first moiety is derived from a polygalactomannan, a second moiety is derived from a polyisocyanate, and a third moiety is derived from a multi-functional aldehyde or a tannic acid.
ORGANIC COMPOUNDS
The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) as herein defined, capable of releasing fragrant compounds in a controlled manner into the surroundings. The present invention is also concerned with a process for their production, and consumer products comprising them.
FRAGRANCE PROCESS
A method of extending the olfactory effect of a fragrance added to a washed item, comprising the addition to the wash of the fragrance, the fragrance comprising at least one compound selected from the group consisting of ethyl (Z)-2-acetyl-4-methyltridec-2-enoate; ethyl N,S-bis(4-oxo-4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-3-en-1-yl)butan-2-yl)cysteinate; 4-(dodecylthio)-4-methylpentan-2-one; 1-butoxy-3-((1E,4Z)-hepta-1,4-dien-1-yl)benzene; and 2-ethoxy-4-((1E,4Z)-hepta-1,4-dien-1-yl)phenol.
A washed item in which the washing utilized at least one of the compounds and which was then stored, for example, in a cupboard, closet or drawer, is found to have retained a substantial proportion of the fragrance, and for a longer time
METHOD OF LAUNDERING FABRIC
A method of laundering fabric, where the method includes the steps of: (a) in a main washing step, washing soiled fabric with an aqueous wash bath including detersive surfactant and one or more of the following components: perfume, brighteners, hueing dyes, enzymes, or any combination thereof; and (b) in a rinsing step, rinsing the soiled fabric with an aqueous rinsing solution including photo-bleach;
where an artificial light source is present and turned on during at least part of the rinsing step (b) and provides light to the aqueous rinsing solution in such a manner that activates the photo-bleach present in the aqueous rinsing solution, and where the artificial light source is turned off during at least part of the main washing step (a) and does not provide any light to the aqueous wash bath.
NON-WOVEN FABRIC FOR DRYER SHEET
The present disclosure relates to a method for preparing a non-woven fabric which improves impregnation and release properties of a fabric softener in the non-woven fabric in order to apply the non-woven fabric to a dryer sheet (sheet-type fabric softener). When increasing porosity and specific surface area in a non-woven fabric made of two-component blended polyester long fibers, impregnation and release rate of a fabric softener are improved even when the non-woven fabric is lightened, making it possible to apply the non-woven fabric to a dryer sheet.
Laundry composition additive
An ancillary laundry composition comprising: (a) 2.5-30 w.t. % fabric softening silicone; (b) Less than 2 w.t. % surfactant; (c) 0.25-10 w.t. % cationic polymer (d) Water.
METHOD OF USE OF COMPOSITION COMPRISING A QUATERNARY AMMONIUM COMPOUND, A CATIONIC POLYSACCHARIDE AND A NONIONIC POLYSACCHARIDE
The present invention relates to a method for conditioning a fabric comprising the step of contacting the fabric with an aqueous medium comprising a composition, wherein the composition comprises: (a) a quaternary ammonium compound; (b) a cationic polysaccharide; and (c) a nonionic polysaccharide. In particular, the quaternary ammonium compound is a biodegradable quaternary ammonium compound. The composition has excellent softening performance and improved perfume longevity. The present invention also relates to use of said composition for conditioning a fabric.
Unsaturated macrocyclic epoxide as perfuming ingredient
A method of use of a compound of formula (I) ##STR00001##
in the form of any one of its stereoisomers or a mixture thereof as a perfuming ingredient to impart to a perfuming composition or perfuming consumer product an odor note of woody, cedar/ambery character optionally having a thujonic aromatic character.
