Cleaning system for a printing press recirculation system
A cleaning system is provided for a printing press recirculation system, in which the cleaning system generates a plurality of bubbles within a fountain solution of the printing press recirculation system. The cleaning system includes (i) a first composition comprising a solid blend including (a) a first alkaline cleaning agent having a first alkaline strength, (b) a detergent salt, (c) a non-foaming emulsifying agent, and (d) a second alkaline cleaning agent having a second alkaline strength, in which the first alkaline strength is greater than the second alkaline strength; (ii) a second composition comprising one or more organic acids. Also provided are methods of cleaning a printing press recirculation system.
Dishwash composition comprising rinse-activatable antifoam
The invention is in the field of hard surface cleaning compositions. There is need for compositions that foam copiously during the washing/cleaning stage. However, during the rinse stage, the foam should rinse-off as quickly as possible in minimum number of rinses-cycles so that the process becomes sustainable. Disclosed is an aqueous cleaning composition, having a pH of 6.5 or lower, comprising (i) 3.0 to 25.0% by weight alkyl ethoxy sulphate; (ii) 1.0 to 5.0% by weight amphoteric surfactant; (iii) 0.1 to 1.0% by weight fatty acids being saturated non-hydroxy C.sub.8-12 fatty acid and a saturated non-hydroxy C.sub.14-18 fatty acid, where ratio of amount of said C.sub.8-12 fatty acid to that of said C.sub.14-18 fatty acid is from 1:0.1 to 1:10 parts by weight; and (iv) 0.5 to 5% by weight non-ionic surfactant, wherein (iii) and (iv) together an antifoaming system, and wherein amount of non-alkoxylated anionic surfactant in said composition in less than 1.0% by weight.
Detergent composition and methods of preventing aluminum discoloration
Detergent compositions designed to prevent aluminum discoloration while providing high cleaning performance on soils and stains are disclosed. Detergent compositions substantially free of nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) are disclosed. Methods of using the detergent compositions are also disclosed.
DISHWASH COMPOSITION COMPRISING RINSE-ACTIVATABLE ANTIFOAM

Three Polymer Blend To Achieve Fabric Care In Laundry
The present disclosure provides liquid and unit dose laundry detergent compositions. Provided herein is a laundry detergent composition including: (a) at least one anionic surfactant, (b) at least one non-ionic surfactant, (c) at least one cationic cellulosic polymer, (d) at least one dye transfer inhibitor polymer, (e) at least one anti-redeposition polymer, and (f) water. The present disclosure also provides a unit dose laundry detergent product including: a water-soluble polymeric film; a detergent composition encapsulated by the water-soluble polymeric film, the detergent composition including: (a) at least one anionic surfactant, (b) at least one non-ionic surfactant, (c) at least one cationic cellulosic polymer, (d) at least one dye transfer inhibitor polymer, (e) at least one anti-redeposition polymer, and (g) water. Methods of making and using the disclosed laundry detergent compositions are also provided.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL AROMATIC ALCOHOLS FOR PERSONAL CARE, HOME CARE AND INDUSTRIAL AND INSTITUTIONAL COMPOSITIONS
Single ingredient, multifunctional additives for use in a wide variety of products comprise aromatic alcohols including without limitation 3-phenylpropanol, 2-phenylethanol, 2-methyl-3-phenylpropanol, methyl benzene ethanol, methyl benzene propanol, or 4-phenyl-1-butanol, or mixtures thereof. The multifunctional aromatic alcohols provide unexpected improvements in processing and in end use product properties of a wide variety of products and are useful at a wide range of pH.
Defoaming systems for unit dose detergents
A detergent composition and a unit dose detergent pack are provided. In one example, the detergent composition includes a surfactant. A fatty acid is present in an amount of from about 0.1 wt. % to about 3 wt. % of the detergent composition. A silicone is present in an amount of from about 0.005 wt. % to about 0.2 wt. % of the detergent composition. One or more non-aqueous solvents is selected from the group of polyethylene glycol (PEG), glycol ether, poloxamer, and reverse poloxamer. The one or more non-aqueous solvents is present in an amount of from about 5 wt. % to about 25 wt. % of the detergent composition.
Use of Filler Blend to Reduce Turbidity and Discoloration of Unit Dose Detergent Composition
A detergent composition includes a surfactant component including a linear alkylbenzene sulfonate in an amount of from about 10 to about 35 wt % actives, an alkoxylated alcohol in an amount of from about 10 to about 30 wt % actives, water in a total amount of from about 10 to about 27 wt %, sodium and/or potassium hydroxide in an amount of from about 2 to about 4 wt % actives, an acidic defoamer in an amount of from about 1 to about 10 wt % actives, and a filler in an amount of at least about 25 wt % actives. The filler includes (1) propylene glycol, (2) glycerin, and (3) high fructose corn syrup in a weight ratio of actives of about (0 to 0.5):(0 to 0.5):(0.5 to 0.95). The composition includes less than 5 wt % actives of an alcohol ethoxy sulfate and less than 0.1 wt % actives of monoethanolamine.
ODOR REMOVER AND METHODS OF MAKING THEREOF
A composition is provided for hard surface cleaning and odor removal. Performance characteristics such as high odor removal and hard surface cleaning performance are achieved using a zinc ricinoleate-based odor neutralizer coupled with a polymeric ester based hard surface cleaning agent. The composition may be formulated for use in a trigger bottle, aerosol, or wipe applications.
LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
A liquid laundry composition comprising: (i) one or more anionic surfactants; and (ii) a non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant with a degree of ethoxylation in the range of 1 to 10; wherein the total amount of anionic surfactant in the composition is in the range of 3 to 18 wt % of the total composition and the weight ratio of the total amount of anionic surfactant to the non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant is in the range of 6:1 to 60:1. Use of a liquid laundry detergent composition including said non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant for laundering textiles wherein effective foam is maintained during a main wash step and an easy rinse of the textiles is provided during a rinse step.
