Method of generating carbonate in situ in a use solution and of buffered alkaline cleaning under an enriched CO2 atmosphere
The invention is directed to methods of generating carbonate in situ in a use solution under an enriched CO.sub.2 atmosphere. In another aspect, the invention is directed to methods of cleaning food processing surfaces under an enriched CO.sub.2 atmosphere comprising contacting a food processing surface with a cleaning composition comprised of an alkalinity source, a surfactant, and water, monitoring the pH during the wash cycle and adjusting the pH by recirculating a use solution, adding a secondary alkalinity source, or both recirculating a use solution and adding a secondary alkalinity source, to generate carbonate in situ in the use solution. In a particular embodiment of the invention the alkalinity source is an alkali metal carbonate and the secondary alkalinity source is an alkali metal hydroxide.
STEAM CLEAN BOOSTER POWDER
In accordance with one aspect of the present invention, a method for cleaning a cooking chamber is provided. The method comprises applying a cleanser composition and water to the cooking chamber followed by incubating the cooking chamber. The cleanser composition comprises components that aid in loosening soil and debris during the steam cleaning and also provides a pleasant aroma. The cleanser composition aids in loosening soil and debris by effervescence.
Foam forming aerosol dispenser
A foam forming aerosol product including a double structure container having a propellant filling space, two liquid concentrate filling spaces, and a discharging mechanism for simultaneously discharging contents filled in the two liquid concentrate filling spaces. The propellant filling space is filled with a propellant containing a compressed gas. A first liquid concentrate filling space is filled with a first liquid concentrate composition containing 0.5 to 15.0% by mass of an organic acid, and a second liquid concentrate filling space is filled with a second liquid concentrate composition containing 0.5 to 15.0% by mass of a hydrogen carbonate. The first liquid concentrate composition discharged from the first liquid concentrate filling space and the second liquid concentrate composition discharged from the second liquid concentrate filling space are mixed to form a foam. The foam forming aerosol product can be safely used, has an excellent storage stability and is capable of readily forming a foam.
EFFERVESCENT COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
Effervescent compositions are disclosed, particularly effervescent compositions useful in toilet bowls. The effervescent composition may include at least one liquid or solid hydrogen peroxide source and at least one catalyst capable of catalyzing an oxidation of the hydrogen peroxide source in the presence of a liquid, such as water. Accordingly, the effervescent composition is capable of effervescence in the presence of a liquid. The effervescent composition may also include a non-hygroscopic solvent. The presence of the non-hygroscopic solvent may assist the effervescent composition in substantially avoiding effervescence until the composition contacts the liquid. Optionally, the ratio of the hydrogen peroxide source and catalyst to the non-hygroscopic solvent is not less than 9:1.
Effervescent cleaning composition comprising diamond powder having Dv50 of less than 40micrometer
A composition which effervesces when added to water, comprises diamond particles with a median equivalent volumetric diameter (Dv50) of less than 40 μm. The compositions are useful as cleaning compositions, particularly for cleaning diamonds.
PECTIN COMPRISING EFFERVESCENT COMPOSITIONS
A water softener, detergent compositions and co-granulates contain an effervescent agent and pectin. Unit portions contain the co-granulates or compositions. The compositions or co-granulates can be used in a water-soluble and/or water-dispersible water softening, cleaning or detergent formulations, and pectin can be used to stabilize effervescent tablets. The effervescent agent can contain an acidic component such as a tricarboxylic acid, a dicarboxylic acid other than tartaric acid, inorganic acids, and a basic component.
Detergent composition in effervescent tablet form
An effervescent detergent tablet comprising sodium laureth sulfate, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, fragrance, Stepantex VT 90 (Methyl bis[ethyl (tallowate)]-2-hydroxyethyl ammonium methyl sulfate), polyhexamethylene biguanide (PHMB), silicon dioxide, enzymes mix, Long Brite (Disodium Distyrylbiphenyl Disulfonate), Stearic Acid, Nabion 15 (Carbon-Disilicate co-granulate) and Polyethylene glycol 4000.
Foaming hard surface cleaning composition with a pH color change
A hard surface cleaning composition is provided, including: carbon dioxide; an ionic acrylic based rheology modifier comprising at least one of an alkali swellable emulsion polymer and a hydrophobically-modified alkali swellable emulsion polymer; a pH adjuster; a surfactant; at least one of an alkyl benzene sulfonic acid and an alkyl benzene sulfonate; water; a cosolvent; and, optionally, a pH color indicator; wherein the pH of the hard surface cleaning composition is 3.5 to 6.0. Also provided is a method of cleaning a hard surface.
DEHYDRATED CLEANING COMPOSITIONS AND REUSABLE PACKAGING SYSTEMS INCLUDING THE SAME
Compositions including an organic acid and a carbonate salt, wherein when the composition is subjected to a solvent, the composition effervesces and exhibits a sustained dissolution timeframe. The compositions may be in the form of a powder, tablet or gel and may also possess antimicrobial properties. Sustainable, reusable packaging systems including the compositions and products described herein are also provided.
ACTIVE AGENT-CONTAINING ARTICLES AND PRODUCT-SHIPPING ASSEMBLIES FOR CONTAINING THE SAME
Active agent-containing articles, for example fibrous structures, that exhibit consumer acceptable article in-use properties, such as flexibility, article dimensions, and/or dissolvability, and product-shipping assemblies for containing the same are provided.
