Method for removing odor of artificial leather and artificial leather manufactured using the same

A method is provided for removing a volatile organic compound (VOC) contained in an artificial leather fabric and odor caused by the volatile organic compound by coating the artificial leather fabric with an adsorbent which reacts with a noxious substance containing the volatile organic compound (VOC); and immersing; washing; and drying the reacted artificial leather fabric. The method includes coating the adsorbent and immobilizing the volatile organic compound through a reaction, to prevent volatilization of the organic compound or reduce an amount thereof. Further, after the reaction between the artificial leather fabric and the adsorbent, the artificial leather fabric is washed, to remove the volatile organic compound immobilized on a surface of the fabric from the artificial leather.

Process for preparing a powdered composition

The present disclosure relates to the field of delivery systems. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a process for preparing a powdered composition including granules. The granules include at least one active substance present in an encapsulated form and in a non-encapsulated form. They are obtained by drying a mixture including an aqueous phase of a water-soluble polymer, a Pickering emulsion including a non-encapsulated active substance and a microcapsule slurry including an encapsulated active substance that can differ or being the same as the non-encapsulated substance. The disclosure further relates to granules obtained by the process and to products containing them.

PERFORMANCE GEAR, TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY, AND CLEANING AND PROTECTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20170298306 · 2017-10-19 ·

A cleaning system for all laundry, high performance textiles, and sports gear, which includes a washing agent and a protective agent. The washing agent is configured to remove unwanted matter from the high performance textiles, sports gear, and/or other laundry. The protective agent is configured to create a bonded barrier comprising organosilane antimicrobial(s) on the high performance textiles, sports gear, and/or other laundry for protection against odors from bacteria, mold and mildew and/or the like. The washing agent and the protective agent are configured to be used in a two-step water-based treatment process in which the washing agent is provided in a given first step of the treatment process and the protective agent is provided in a given subsequent second step of the treatment process.

A deodorizer is provided herein which includes a fragrance containing a bubble gum flavor and cinnamaldehyde, a surfactant, a fungicide and bactericide in an alcohol/water solution. Also provided are methods of preparing and applying the deodorizer.

Perfume-free malodor reducing compositions

Perfume-free malodor reducing compositions comprising a malodor binding polymer and a malodor counteractant are provided. In some embodiments, the composition comprises a malodor binding polymer and GLDA. Such compositions may be used to reduce malodor on inanimate surfaces or in the air.

EFFERVESCENT COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF MAKING SAME
20170275563 · 2017-09-28 ·

Effervescent compositions are disclosed, particularly effervescent compositions useful in toilet bowls. The effervescent composition may include at least one liquid or solid hydrogen peroxide source and at least one catalyst capable of catalyzing an oxidation of the hydrogen peroxide source in the presence of a liquid, such as water. Accordingly, the effervescent composition is capable of effervescence in the presence of a liquid. The effervescent composition may also include a non-hygroscopic solvent. The presence of the non-hygroscopic solvent may assist the effervescent composition in substantially avoiding effervescence until the composition contacts the liquid. Optionally, the ratio of the hydrogen peroxide source and catalyst to the non-hygroscopic solvent is not less than 9:1.

METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR CLEANING

Disclosed herein are compositions and methods for preventing, reducing, or removing biofilms.

MALODOR COUNTERACTING COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD FOR THEIR USE
20170266334 · 2017-09-21 · ·

The invention relates to a malodor counteractancy or counteracting (MOC) method that resorts to the use of specific malodor counteracting (MOC) mixtures of fragrance ingredients. More particularly, the invention relates to new MOC compositions capable of neutralizing or masking in an efficient manner malodors of a large variety of such as body or as malodors, kitchen malodors, toilet and bathroom malodors, and tobacco malodor. The novel MOC compositions of the invention contain at least one nitrite material in combination with another fragrance material and can be used in any finished consumer products such as air fresheners, kitchen or toilet/bathroom cleaning or freshening products, textile treatment products and products for application on the human skin or hair, or on animal fur, litter containers or cages.

LAUNDRY ADDITIVE

A laundry additive composition comprising a) at least one oxylated material chosen from polyoxyalkylene, a poly-oxyalkylene fatty acid ester, and a polyoxyalkylene fatty alcohol ether; b) a polyol; c) a coloring agent; and d) at least one additive chosen from fragrance and a fabric treatment material. The composition can deliver the additive to clothing during washing or rinsing of the clothes, such as to impart a fragrance to clothing.
