Compositions Comprising (Bio)-Alkanediols and Cooling Agents
The present invention relates to a homecare product composition or a cosmetic or pharmaceutical composition comprising or consisting of an effective amount of 1,2-nonanediol or 2,3-nonanediol or a mixture comprising 1,2-nonanediol and 2,3-nonanediol or of a specific alkanediol having a carbon chain of 5 to 14 carbon atoms or a mixture of two or more different specific alkanediols having a carbon chain of 5 to 14 carbon atoms, in combination with an effective amount of at least one cooling agent. Additionally, the present invention relates to the use of 1,2-nonanediol or 2,3-nonanediol or a mixture comprising 1,2-nonanediol and 2,3-nonanediol or the use of a specific alkanediol having a carbon chain of 5 to 14 carbon atoms or a mixture of two or more different specific alkanediols having a carbon chain of 5 to 14 carbon atoms for malodour reduction or for inhibiting malodour development or for body odour control or for masking insect alluring odours. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a cosmetic product comprising a cosmetic composition of the present invention. Finally, the present invention relates to the use of 1,2-nonanediol and/or 2,3-nonanediol or of a specific alkanediol having a carbon chain of 5 to 14 carbon atoms or a mixture of two or more different specific alkanediols having a carbon chain of 5 to 14 carbon atoms for preparing a cosmetic product of the present invention or a homecare product.
DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ENZYMES
Laundry detergent compositions can include an alginate lyase enzyme, nuclease enzyme, and anionic surfactant. Also included are methods of treating fabrics by contacting the fabric with an aqueous wash liquor having the laundry detergent composition which includes an alginate lyase enzyme, nuclease enzyme, and anionic surfactant.
USE OF ESSENTIAL OILS FOR REDUCING OR PREVENTING MALODOR IN FABRICS, TEXTILES OR CLOTHING
The present invention relates to the field of reducing clothing malodor which is due to bacterial conversion of molecules which are present in sweat. The present invention discloses micro-encapsulated essential oils that reduces malodor on clothes in a durable way. The compounds of the present invention can thus be used in clothing sprays, clothing finishing agents, deodorants, washing powders, or in any method to reduce laundry malodor.
Process of reducing malodors on fabrics
A process of reducing malodors on fabrics includes combining fabrics having at least one source of malodor with a wash liquor having metal ions. The wash liquor is prepared by diluting a laundry detergent composition in water by a factor of between 100-fold and 3000-fold. The process further includes washing the fabrics in the wash liquor using an automatic wash operation, a manual wash operation or a mixture thereof; separating the fabrics and the wash liquor from one another; and drying the fabrics. The laundry detergent composition includes from 0.001% to 5% of an alkylated phenol antioxidant, a hindered phenol antioxidant, or mixtures thereof, and at least one of said antioxidants has a log D value at pH 7 equal to or greater than 1.50.
DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ENZYMES
Laundry detergent compositions including alginate lyase enzyme, hexosaminidase enzyme and anionic surfactant. Methods of treating fabrics by contacting the fabric with an aqueous wash liquor having the detergent composition therein. The compositions and methods are particularly for improving whiteness of a fabric, improved soil removal from a fabric, for malodour removal from a fabric, for anti-wrinkle benefits, collar and/or cuff cleaning, anti-redeposition benefits and/or for improved drying of a fabric.
CLEANING COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING ALGINATE LYASE ENZYMES
Compositions including an alginate lyase enzyme and anionic surfactant. Methods of treating fabrics by contacting the fabric with an aqueous wash liquor having a detergent composition with an alginate lyase enzyme.
POLYPEPTIDE VARIANTS
Detergent compositions including polypeptide variants and methods of cleaning and/or treatment of surfaces using such compositions, and fabric treatment compositions including polypeptide variants. The compositions may include surfactants: anionic, nonionic and/or cationic.
MITIGATION OF AMMONIA, ODOR AND GREENHOUSE GASES
The present invention relates to the use of a composition comprising tannins, preferably tannic acid, and fluoride for mitigating ammonia, methane and/or odor production and emissions. The invention also relates uses of such compositions.
Polypeptide variants
The present invention relates to polypeptide variants and methods for obtaining variants. The present invention also relates to polynucleotides encoding the variants; nucleic acid constructs, vectors, and host cells comprising the polynucleotides; and methods of using the variants.
MACROCYCLIC KETONE AS MALODOR COUNTERACTING INGREDIENT
The present invention relates to the field of perfumery. More particularly, it concerns malodor masking compositions and/or ingredients, as well as method for counteracting or masking malodors and perfuming compositions having odor masking properties.
